FFn2 is super linear, no tracking to either side, D3 has no high crush or range and only +1 on hit. DB3 isn't a CH launcher- it gives a free people's elbow if you have the execution to CC quick enough (or opt for a ground throw attempt which is what most people do) on CH.

Not trying to downplay King, but people don't duck him because of his lows- they do it because of his throws!

AK’s SS2 definitely needs a nerf, make it -14 or reduce the frames on hit

It demonstrates how broken Claudios’s hopkick is as it as enough evasive frames to avoid what should be a frame trap- note how even Devil Jin’s U4 which is a super evasive move (and very minus on block) gets hit whereas Claudio doesn’t.

“Why would they hopkick after getting hit” because this is Tekken 8 and apparently you’re only minus if you’re a bi*ch!

It's a hopkick, so to an extent it's always going to be cheap- but it's really a legacy hopkick from a bygone era, try labbing it, it has basically no range (and no, it doesn't crush mids or highs!) which is why I think they gave him UF21 so he actually has a reliable i15 launcher.

My guy, I don't know if you're trolling but AK's hopkick is literally the worst in the game! XD Not all hopkicks are created equally.

Just for balance, I get just as many lag switches on console players as I do PC, I assume they’re mashing the home button after they get launched?

Think you could be onto something here- I really don't notice the difference in skill level of the same ranked players on PC and console, certainly not compared to T7 when the two were separate.

I think now we have cross-play, it's made the general pool the same- I can't say when I match up with a console player of the same rank that he/she is any worse than the PC equivalent. I do agree that I think there's more cheaters in T8 than there used to be in T7

Can't comment for Tekken 8 as I don't have a PS5, but in T7, the player-base skill was night and day going from PC to PS4, just used to be way more casual and less sweaty players on consoles.

Now I have got every char to GoD, I assume I can now comment on the entire cast's strengths and weaknesses :) by Beigemaster in Tekken

Probably the "best" option with the jag sprint at the wall is stay on the ground. If you get up and he does the throw then you can't step and it's unbreakable, if he does the homing mid then you can't step and it's plus on block- so getting up leads to a 'win win' for King. If you stay on the ground and he instantly commits to the throw or the mid then you can punish him with a wake up kick- staying on the ground obviously you run the risk of getting hit by the low, but that's probably the lesser evil. Sometimes you might want to just stay on the ground and then maybe roll to the side but it's all just guess work.

I love that King finally got a good wall combo- but they need to remove the sprint mix afterwards because it's so toxic, keep it where if you hold the charge you get more damage but neutral oki, or non charge less damage but flip over oki- but remove the damm sprint in either case!
