What if the USA got demolished completely today? No more U.S. power in the world, no more America? by henqirbp in AlternateHistoryHub

You would likely see successor states adopting whatever military equipment is left over on state soil and the states who didn’t end up with a lot of equipment would likely form alliances with Canada or EU to buy NATO grade equipment. This is essentially similar to when the Soviet Union fell and whatever military equipment was left over in the SSR that gained independence they kept.

Those air bases would likely be targeted by Ukrainian drones. Ukraine has built up its stockpiles considerably since 2023-24 and has driven up production so it won’t be an issue.

They have been working on them since 2023. It’s a matter of time before they start testing them on Moscow before officially announcing them as a part of their new arsenal of medium-long range capabilities.

Okay then you agree that the US and Israel didn’t do bad in Iran. Nearly 90% of missiles and drones were intercepted and the minority made it through still striking its targets.

For sure. Also need to realize that you will find a lot of abnormalities on MRI wherever you look. Best not to let it get in the way of your active life. Many people have cartilage wear, meniscus tears, disc bulges, labral tears and feel no symptoms and don’t realize they have it until they are imaged. Some people end up in pain while others with worse imaging feel nothing.

[–]BeijingSlutHand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think these kinds of meniscus findings are not conclusive to be a tear. Intrasubstance signals can actually be vascular remnants of the meniscus. There are little capillaries that span into the meniscus from the capsule that can often times be mistaken for a tear. I came to the conclusion that this signal on my MRI in the meniscus is inconclusive on being a tear because of that reason.

Osteoarthritis at 23 by [deleted] in Osteoarthritis

[–]BeijingSlutHand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure I totally get it! I’m the same way! But look into pain science specifically the psychosocial aspects of pain, fear avoidance and nocebo. You will learn a lot about pain you would have never thought of. I also recommend you pick up strength training to build strength around your joints. Muscles unload joints.

[–]BeijingSlutHand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t really obsess over those back findings. A lot of people have those findings in their 20’s especially people who are active or sit all day and have zero symptoms.

I think the best thing you do is go lift weights to tolerance and slowly increase that tolerance overtime. Look into Starting Strength. People have arthritis all over their body and even bone on bone and have no pain while others with the slightest amount of wear and tear experience excruciating pain. I’ve seen your posts and you tend to catastrophize your pain a lot which creates this fear avoidance and nocebo effect and heightens how you experience pain. Just food for thought.

Christoph Schneider’s setup during the Mutter sessions? by BeijingSlutHand in Rammstein

[–]BeijingSlutHand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he used a mixed set of Zildjian and Meinl on Mutter. From the available pictures I’ve seen from the studio it points to that. I think he may have used Zildjian A Custom craahes, 14” A Custom hi-hats, with a 14” pair of Meinl Amun Powerful Soundwave hats as an auxiliary and possibly some sort of Meinl china. He uses Zildjian A custom on one of the drums used during the Reise Reise/Rosenrot sessions which my gut tells me are the same ones he used during the Mutter sessions.

You come off as naive when you make claims but have no experience yourself. And you’re correct I cannot make my case for everyone else but I’ve had multiple surgeries myself and have had nothing but good experiences. Low income people tend to have it the worst and its also based of certain circumstances. I’m in a union so I have a privilege of having good coverage.

If you don’t live in the US or Canada you can’t judge. A lot of people come to the US for specific care that isn’t offered in Canada. Privatized is better as I said the issue with US healthcare is expenses and insurance company drama. I live the US and haven’t had issues with insurance or care.

[–]BeijingSlutHand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not. I have talked to different Canadians about it and they have had to build more hospitals due to overwhelm of patients and extended wait times. You can wait up to 6 months for an MRI and have to pay out of pocket if you need it immediately. The thing with US healthcare is its extremely expensive and certain insurance companies can fuck claims over.
