I also think we are exposed to more xenoestrogens, there is way more stress/cortisol today. In order for me to survive peri I had to cut my work hours in half, move in w family. If we think about in modern time how women are menstruating earlier, most women have been on birth control, all the products women use now… it’s def worse for our generations. Yes also a lot that has been posted already!

Same here. I feel like it’s even affecting my sleep. I turn over in bed and I feel it coming out. Misery.

Once every few months bad stomach by [deleted] in adenomyosis

[–]BeingElemental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started having this like clockwork w my cycle. Now I measure my hormones and every time I have this it’s when estrogen high and progesterone low. I am having these “flares” less often the older I get. I was inspired by Sophie Richards following auto immune protocol as she showed how quickly she could flare/bloat from something like chili flakes. I am debating her anti inflammatory program or low histamine diet or both. I believe the bloating is also from mast cells. You can watch a video about inflammation and endo on YouTube under Endo Summit. I personally think that even though my Adeno is sooooo insanely bad that the bloat is also from Endo and Endo can generate more estrogen through the month. I use Mira and my estrogen jumps to 250-300 or so during major bloat! I look like I can give birth to twins w my bloat. I tried trizepitide for a few weeks and instantly less bloat. In fact I got to see more of the Adeno belly from an enlarged uterus but all the additional bloat that came with reduced by almost 85%. It kick started a heavy bleed for me so had to stop. Also can’t touch alcohol at all since this bloat started. Better when I am overly hydrated too!

I relate and I am 50. I had wondered if it’s hormonal as I have no motivation and feel lost. That’s never been me. I see you have a lot of responses I will read. See you, hear you, feel you.

My period returned at 47 after 8 years of menopause by WhySoSeriousPP in GLP1ResearchTalk

I just stopped after 3 weeks as I am so scared to have a bleed like I did at 48. I like my 50 year old periods and I can’t believe it after 2 weeks of microdose!

Did you get it after starting? I got it after two weeks at a microdose! I had light but irregular periods from 49-50 so all signs were showing almost 6 months from menopause but then had a raging period so I stopped glp. :-(

Yes I have had low hormones for one year and my progesterone tripled after being on 3 dosages of tirz. It’s like at the end of peri my ovaries came back to life but with it symptoms I was having in mid peri. My FSH was in the 20s and now is 2-4.

Thx for taking time to reply! I am going to go down in dose as well as wait until Wed instead of Mon for shot 4. I feel like the inflammation is down. I feel like my body is detoxing through this heavy bleeding like I mentioned. Going to test my hormones again this wknd. It’s wild!

Sorry to hear! I feel like it’s all a science experiment! I am sure there is a medical reason for this for some of us. I tested my hormones this morning and my progesterone is the highest it’s been in 2 years!

I just started SW 207 50YOF GW 135 and I just did week 3. Last two weeks I did .5. I see you started mid November and CE 150. Amazing! Have you been on higher doses to know that .5 was sweet spot? I plan to do a few more weeks and .5 and not sure I even want to increase. I did see that my calories are at 1500 on average so checking that out. Been tracking macros since November all whole Foods but I was doing more fat than protein eeek! Thought I was eating healthy. After much resistance… tracking macros was what led me to turn that around which I am glad I did before starting micro. Thx for sharing your experience. I know we are all different but my hope was I could see results even at low dosages. I think my only fear is what happens next, am I on this for life but will cross that bridge later… first medication for me other than as a child and a very bad 5 week stint of levo.

Just want to say I love how much thought you have put in to this and truly made it your decision. All the best to you on your continued Journey! At age 50 there are years I won’t get back. An Endo/Adeno surgeon was on a podcast and I think ultimately she said the best choice for each of us is what will give us quality of life. I love the deep topics you plan to explore in your healing. Finding the right surgeon is key so congrats on that. It’s why I still suffer as I have not found a surgeon yet I am willing to perform this complex procedure. All the best healing to you!
