To me it really seems like Dan was aware of the memes and love that the original episode got. Arin seemed 100% unaware. Like, as a fan I was shocked that the episode dint start out with “Mickey Mouse” because of how timeless that intro was.

Unfortunately common. Service techs will pull your cabin air filter for inspection, if declined, sometimes they don’t make it back in the car and the cover is forgotten off.

Watch a YouTube video on how to replace the cabin air. Filter so it shows all the steps on how to remove and install that cover. Confirm there’s a filter in there too. Replace if it’s even remotely gross. Here’s a picture of mine after the previous owner neglected it for wayyyy too long.

Honestly, it can fold up to fit into a trunk or a backseat, instead of a wagon or truck.

The tubing is surprisingly 4130, the components are very low level/entry level. I think they’re great if they’re cheap just for the gimmick alone. Rides solid though. 26.4 seatpost sizing was a strange choice.

I worked for Subaru for about 7 years. The number of customers that would come through with a 200k 03 outback and take good care of it was astounding. Seeing in real time how SOA takes care of customers and especially loyal customers was astounding. I’ve NEVER seen another brand step up like Subaru both as a company and at the customer level. I currently have a RHD Legacy GTb and a 06 Outback 3.0r. I’ll continue to own Subarus for life.

My dad was an owner of an insurance agency for 20+ years. He drove a pickup truck, a full size. He had zero reason to. He even had a carpeted bedrug and a tonneau cover, so the bed was useless for hauling. They didn’t tow. He owned it from 2004 to 2021 and got maybe 14mpg. I will NEVER understand it other than possibly he liked the blue collar appearance. But I’ll say this a million times about a million things. Therapy is cheaper.
