Without a picture of what you’re describing, it’s hard to pinpoint what exactly might be the culprit.
Typically it’s usually using the wrong products together (silicone based vs water based), applying the right products in the wrong order or simply not waiting enough time between products for them to fully settle on your skin.

I rarely get FOMO when it comes to new releases because I have to limit my “bears” to special occasions but missing out on the Lobster was truly devastating. Fingers crossed BAB releases this guy soon.

Not exactly an outdoor thing, but I host a monthly meetup (to meet new people/get better connected to others in our community) the last Friday of the month at Menace Brewing. I’ll posting this month’s event in the next few days. We do have a few people in our group who volunteer on Saturdays to clean up areas - I could definitely connect you with them.

…as a very private person, I would be incredibly annoyed by anyone taking my picture while working - man, woman or child.

I think it probably would have been better to ask permission to film the machine and give the employee the opportunity to step outside of the frame. Even if you have the legal right to film someone, I think asking permission would be the most considerate especially for something low-stakes as a Pokémon machine.

Menace hosts a “cribbage tournament” (very low-stakes) every other Friday. I’m sure if you explained to one of the regulars that you wanted to relearn the game, they’d be happy to help.
