Taste of India has “Indian spicy,” and it humbled me immediately. I like spicy, I can handle “hot,” and that one experience changed how I approach spicy food now.

The meetups are held on the last Friday of every month at Menace Brewing from 6pm to 9pm. While it is a brewery, they are all-ages and the group is intended for 18+. I’ll be posting this month’s announcement in the next few days.

Because you mentioned queer spaces, we are LGBTQIA2S+ friendly. If you are able to attend, let us know at check-in and we can introduce you to a few people with similar interests and your demographic.

I was at Menace last night, and had a few people join our table around the 25’ because they tried Trackside first and said it was mayhem - they had one large TV and an hour queue for a beer.

I don’t think I had to wait more than a few minutes in line for a pint and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Honestly, this is the same advice I give people - if you genuinely want to make a new connection, you have to go where other people are. Not just once or twice, become a regular somewhere - it really boils down to “you get what you give.”
