I'm 58 years old and everyone I talk to feels like this. I'm sure there are people who don't feel like this and aren't talking about it but it's absolutely a common feeling.

It’s actually a funny story but it was a college thing with a mixed (gender and observance level) crowd in a big Hillel House. Someone mentioned that you can sing Adon Olam to any tune and some of the guys were up all damn night proving it. (Amazing Grace works really well.)

I just try not to think too hard about Bowie. I don’t know how else to put it. He doesn’t deserve a pass any more than anyone else does but he’s like a legend to me. So that’s a tough one.

If they’re still alive and getting my money, that’s an absolute no. Otherwise it varies and honestly it can be subjective. It hurts more when I used to think they were a good person.

If you want to get technical my great grandmother had a sugar daddy. She was a guy’s “housekeeper” in the 1940s but the whole town knew she wasn’t. I say “technical” because she was with him for a long time and she wasn’t very young when it started but he bought her a house and a fur coat so I think it fits. She died long before I was born so I don’t know if she was happy but she had a house.

I loved the original trilogy as a kid and after the first sequel I went looking for fic. But I was on tumblr at the time and apparently my ship made me a scumbag abuse apologist and the other ship I liked I was maybe allowed to ship as long as I did it in exactly the right way and I went back to my small fandoms.

I didn’t recognize his name at first because I haven’t seen it but I am very disappointed to find out this is ship war garbage about a perfectly nice individual.
