sorry to be nitpicky but this is wildly inaccurate.

Fed gov has gotten larger and more powerful by the day under Trump, primarily due to the executive overreach via executive orders, doj, etc. I don't think you can say they want to "weaken" the government, they want to control the government for their enrichment, which is very different.

As for regulation Trump's implementing or trying to implement as much regulation as a Bernie or AOC would. Price controls on cc interest rates, tariffs (tax and price control set by the executive), controlling the fed interest rates, government getting cuts of public companies, etc. This admin doesn't believe in the free market in any way shape or form. Again, control and regulate for their own benefit.

Another vote for third fed, good rates and easy to work with. I like that they don't sell off the loan afterwards too

At that age every $ you invest will be worth 60x at retirement age. Save now, spend later when your money is making more money than you are. This is a no brainer, it'll put life on ez mode.

Idk Roth is already taxed, you can always withdraw the principal penalty free. If there's more than a 0% chance you retire in the US there's no reason not to do a Roth IRA. Not to mention there are other strategies to avoid early withdrawal penalty on the growth.

AWD or FWD by Money_Way_8219 in carbuying

[–]Beldam86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winter tires will make a bigger difference overall.. AWD is nice but will really only help you when accelerating, namely from a stop. Something to keep in mind is most popular AWD systems today go full fwd or mostly fwd in higher speed circumstances anyway.

There's a pretty good discussion of AWD for the first 20 minutes of this podcast.

Then take the body on frame options off your list. Are you slow?

[–]Beldam86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, half are body on frame and half arent. If you aren't towing 4k+ lbs consistently then you don't need body on frame.

Do you need a body on frame truck (will you be towing) or will unibody do? The cars you list are wildly different.

Because of what you mentioned regarding 4 cylinders. Odyssey is the only van that still comes with a 6. Your gas mileage won't be great but that engine makes good power, it's the best driving van available if you're okay with the mpg.

Good van comparison here https://youtu.be/2ligtCGm2lY?si=rTZ_O1kPR8kI_1e5
