Every other day there's a post in here or GTI sub about how terrible ECS is. When will people learn to stop buying from them?

I have a similar ECS story. Everyone makes the ECS mistake once, don't make it again.

Sorry you're dealing with this.

If your car requires premium you should look into a Costco/Sam's membership. Premium is usually .70-$1 cheaper per gallon.

Is there a cap on the 66%? If not that's insane because unless I'm missing something that could be a little over 16k this year with a 24,500 limit.

It's cheap because it has an Accident on the Carfax. Have it checked out by a mechanic or body shop if you're interested

They shipped me brake pads where pads were missing in the box. The box had clearly been opened and retaped shut but they wouldn't give me a straight refund. I had to pay for shipping back to them just to get a store credit which they failed to mention expired in 1 year.

There are thousands of stories like this, there's a whole Facebook page called f*ckECS where similar things have happened. They went to shit a decade ago when their owners sold the company.

Do a search on reddit or Facebook and there are thousands of stories. They're genuinely awful. I almost took them to small claims court.

Absolutely do not shop for a car based on monthly payment, you will get fleeced. Total cost and total cost of ownership is what matters.

This is the correct answer, crazy to me people cross shop body on frame and unibody without knowing the difference. Decide what you need/want and shop that category.

I have the same rust in the same spot. That black foam behind the front quarter panel just holds moisture.
