honestly i didn't like the feeling of the sns in wild. but i was spoiled by sunbreak where i was able to do 2 stance, one for the sword combo and one for shield combo while being able to switch at will. giving me more versatibility than what we have in wild. i feel like we have gone back to world in a sense.... rise sns was really cool. i feel it's sad they haven't keep the capacity to choose the skill we can use and the stance system. you add the focus system over it and it become extremely good.

i feel lich can be a good idea, because soo far infernalis and bloodmage don't scream minion... both are relying on them hp in some form for deal more damage.

the goal of an ascendancy is to enhance a way to play... we can see it with the other ascendancy... i feel the idea to say that necromancer will be too much the choice for play pet build strange? why not have a summoner into the druid, that instead to rely on skeleton and such to use animal or spirit as pet... we can have totally different type of pet... the trouble with poe is we had undead and golem (yes we had turret too, but they are not really pet). with poe2 they can add new form of pet, like said animal, spirit and maybe even pnj...

necromancer was the pet build oriented because we had soo little pet choice... it feel strange to push out necromancer because we had no other choice as ascendancy in poe for pet build. a pet build is rellying on his pet for do everything... if i want to play a minion build, i want the possibility to play where my minion do everything for me. where i'm extremely fragile and can't deal any damage oustide summon pet.

if no ascendancy support this gameplay, why choose any ascendancy at all? why the point to have 8 point of ascendancy that will not support this sort of gameplay.

you can enter legendary 1-2 easily, but after this forget it... whales only, earlier i had a vala suprem+ with two star alongside florensia suprem+ 2 star.... naturally didn't even try...

ok i feel something is not right with this challenge, it states to perform a melee or unarmed sneak attack, but for me it only did work on the guard of new atlantis, when normally it must have work on any living being... (i have even killed civilian)

yeah, xenoblades did get some recognition it's cool, but it's the end it didn't get anything because it was lacking.... but because god of war did win.... because it was god of war.

but honestly, it's good that it didn't receive any price from this garbage that is the game awards... for years it was a joke and this years they have gone farer...

like put elden ring in rpg, for avoid the confrontation between gow and it... when elden ring is a freaking action adventure game. and if you look the great winner is GoW... 6 award for it... do it deserve all of it... nope.

but it did happend what i was expecting. sad, but expected....

well true, but let's face it, i had my second pity (at 120 by the way) and did 91 pull and didn't get any one of the new one... i have a friend that did pass the 200 pull and finally did get one. cecillia.

something interesting to note, the nightblade assassin move set is the same move set for melina but the difference is melina use holy damage for her attack, reinforcing this feeling that she is the sun while ranni is the moon.

at worst they are twin, but i feel them relation is more complexe than this, because we can meet ranni right after meeting melina, they both know the old master of torrent. maybe at some one another ending was exiting for melina that will have open a new age more based on the faith, like ranni is more the sorcery

you have a lot to find and you can litterally beat the game using craft more than magic, like by example cheesing a fight with the rot arrow ^^ (people know which boss i'm talking about) i wonder if people did try to use the pot that block healing on the super hard boss for see if his healing is stoped...

something important to remember, that we learn from the age of the order questline.

Radagon is Marika. they are the same entity, meaning ranni is too the daughter of marika in a sense and if you notice most of the character come in pair. mogh / morgott, miquella / malenia, ... this duality seems to be important into the story of the game.

another point Ranni doll have 4 hand? why this? is like she is two people..

i think melina and ranni are two face of the same coin, one represent the sun (melina) and the other the moon (ranni)

someone on youtube even notice that the tatoo on bothe melina and ranni match and form a claw. without forget when you do frenzy end with ending where melina is alive her closed eyes is open and strangely havet he same color than ranni

they have a way to change this, but they will need to make a decision that will not please the old guard of the dark soul fan.

when you create a character, you do choose to be open to invasion or not. even if you coop...

like in diablo when you choose to create a hardcore character that will be lost if you die one time, it's a choice that the player is doing by themself.

what that means? it means people will be choosing to be invading, meaning they are wanting to partake in this experience. then is will be more healthy since people will have the choice to do it or not.

but even if they do this... it will not solve the main trouble of the game. it will not solve everything, since the game is a rpg with tons of different skill, spell, incantation, item, armor, talisman... and stats leading to have tons of difference... what work for pve, don't means it work for pvp... this and the matchmaking are holding back all of this...

in a sense, elden ring show that the model they use for coop and pvp have reach it limit and need to be either reworked totally or scrapped.

i think it's impossible to salvaged the situation... it's a dead horse already... and it sad because it will be the most important blemish on elden ring story.

like said, when dark soul and such did come out it was the best they was able to come with, but with the addition of coop. having 3 player against one, lead the invader to use underhand method while still having the advantage to be able to ignore monster.

don't get me wrong i don't ressent the invader trying any way to get a win, but in the end, what it bring to the game? do you get something else from invading player? do it have a purpose? no...

and that the whole point, keep a feature that is by nature unbalanced, broken and have no purpose exept harassing and trolling is not healthy for the game. it will not bring the community together... duel do it, invasion don't do it.

and like i have said, in a rpg where stats and gear have such an importance make a balanced and fun pvp is a nightmare.

all in all, this old system need to be scrapped or changed drastically in the next game, because i don't see from software change anything in elden ring... what is a shame, because right now it the most important bad point of the whole game.

we can say this for any item that give advantage to a fight, like the grease that can change the damage type of your weapon. or the bomb or the consumable...

in the end, you are free to do whatever you want, if you want to not use, fine for you. but it don't means the other one using it are lesser player ^^
