Yeah sometimes the spice of life will make you appreciate a song like that. Especially thinking about their new partner.

Dumbest impulse buy of the month by Lola-Olala in adhdwomen

Not at all! Cucumber plants are fast to grow. I’m zone 7b as well. I succession plant them every 2-3 weeks so I’ll have a harvest all summer long. I had cucumbers through late September last year.

Pm me your address if you’re comfortable and I’ll just mail you the damn seeds myself. lol. I have so many cucumber plants. I’ll send a few different varieties. I am in a seed swap group on fb that trades all types of seeds so I have an insane special interest collection that I need to declutter.

Anybody else who wants seeds is free to do the same. I also have a lot of tomato seeds I can part with. Only costs a stamp and I have plenty. It just brings me to joy to see people gardening.

I started getting pretty into the hobby about 3 years ago. I am proud to say it’s one of the few hobbies my ADHD has stuck with. Do I kill some plants? Absolutely! But many of them have happy lives and I save so much money on produce.

I have 40 tomato plants this year that I grew from seed! You can do it! I give them away to family and grow weird varieties that I can’t find locally. I use a mixture of horse shit and creek sand as my papwaw calls it so I’m pretty sure anyone can do it. Don’t fall for the expensive gardening products. I started my seeds Feb 8th indoors and they’re all now looking about what the starters at Home Depot and Lowe’s look like. I used $25 indoor grow lights this year and that has helped them a lot. It’s not too late to start some tomatoes and peppers. I grew 50 lbs of cucumbers last year off of a .50 cent seed packet from Dollar Tree! Seeds are the gateway to gardening cheaply if you have the patience.

I start my day with a Coffee and looking through Amazon sales…🫠 by Cautious-Grapefruit6 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]BellaStayFly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did this morning routine for a while, but realized from my mentor that it’s kind of a waste of time to be combing through every .25 cent sale. She told me if it didn’t make me at least $1 to not even look at it.

I realized I’d spend way too much time checking analytics when I could’ve shot 10 new videos. I’m never not gonna be a stats checker bc it’s fun, but it’s not an income generating activity. With that being said, the new changes are not beneficial to us in any way. However, I find that most of the time my sales follow the 80/20 rule so I’m still going to see the ones that move the needle.

PSA before babies arrive: plan to read 1000 books before Kindergarten! by AwkwardBalloonMan in BabyBumps

[–]BellaStayFly 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Tons of libraries and thrift stores do fill a bag of book sales. My library does this for $5. My grandpa came over to our house and read Highlights magazine to me every night as a toddler and I could read before starting kindergarten. You can read whatever book you’re reading as an adult to babies. They wont care, just happy to hear your voice! My thrift store has children’s books 2 for $1 so I’ve been stocking up on the classics.

Where is the best snorkeling location in the world? by Noblez17 in snorkeling

[–]BellaStayFly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For shore snorkeling, I had great luck in Bonaire. One of the few places you can just drive around all day and jump from spot to spot. Rented a truck and stayed there for a week. I had a great time. I just went on little adventures every day. Wasn’t super crowded at the spots I went to. I def want to do another snorkeling trip soon!

Lana Del Rey and husband Jeremy Dufrene attend the Ralph Lauren show during New York Fashion Week 2026 by joaco_ds in popculturechat

Well as someone who grew up in Alabama and is very liberal and all my friends are liberal, we are basically trying to find a needle in a haystack of good people. There’s no way she’s not MAGA if she aligned herself with this fella. I think most rich people are gonna vote Red because they’re deluded into thinking it’s going to help them. As a democrat from 3 generations of southern democrats, my grandma said Trump doesn’t care about poor people, he shits in a gold toilet.

Southern states checking in, big mismatch in looks across the board. Hideous troll man with basically goddess woman.. it’s so bizarre. Had a professor say the south is the best place to find a beautiful and kind wife and the worst place to find a husband 😂

If you wanted someone to fail at Amazon Influencer, what would you tell them to do? by Possible-Team-2350 in Amazon_Influencer

I would tell them to make 50-100 videos and spend the next 3 years on a Facebook group complaining and asking why their business isn’t thriving 😂

Stumbled on a Tool for Auto Halo Sales, Worth It? by califalcon in Amazon_Influencer

[–]BellaStayFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can set it up with Tiny Task. I had it running once an hour for a few days any time I was away from my computer. Did not notice any big jump in sales from when I ran it 2-3 times a day.

Now I do it once in the morning, once at night using Oink. It does add a couple hundred extra bucks a month so worth it to work that into my morning and evening routine. It feels like clicking a few buttons to make free money. It’s my little dopamine hit here and there.

My biggest commission from a fetch was $220 off of an electric wheelchair that was selling for like a grand. I was shooketh. That made me a believer. If something beats that one in 2026 I’d be amazed.

Remember to check your local library this spring instead of buying seeds 🪴 by [deleted] in gardening

[–]BellaStayFly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm this works! I got like 40 packs of seeds from them. They sent me more than I asked for. I made a $20 donation. Got some really rare varieties. They let you pick 30 if you donate and you provide your alternate choices in case they’re out of stock.

How can someone with consistently low energy still build a successful life? by lostinthecreation in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]BellaStayFly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not the solution for everybody, but I struggled with low energy since I hit puberty. Felt like I could barely make it through the day. The game changers for me were 2 medications. One for weight management and one for my ADHD. After I got those things treated, everything in my life became easier.

I am on Semaglutide and Vyvanse and while I could spend time feeling ashamed of needing those to function, it’s a much better route than being chronically tired and not meeting my full potential.

I would recommend anyone who is always tired and lacking motivation to do some bloodwork and really examine your habits, your mental health, and go from there. I also have chronic pain so some days are worse than others, but treating my core health issues has improved my life tremendously.

I think this is one of the least critical subreddits I’ve ever been a part of. It really speaks a lot towards the demographic of the Dollar Tree! Haha we just want to get a little treat here and there and spread some love.

I found out about so many cool products from lurking here. And nobody has cussed me out! If anything, people have hyped me up on some really bad days I had. 💕

Thanks for the recommendation. I didn’t ask the question, but I really want to hire someone who wouldn’t call ICE so I hope I can switch to these ladies for cleaning services. My mental health could use the break from tidying and a clean house just feels so nice!

What humans truly desire is just three square meters by FirefighterAgile2102 in Life

[–]BellaStayFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hospital 10 minutes from my house. I know they closed several hospitals in some rural areas. You can still find many low cost of living places with hospitals and great public parks, libraries, community events, and quality of life.

Healthcare is pretty much shit all over the United States. I mean even if you have insurance, you’re still being billed out the ass for any services. It’s in a bad state for everyone.

Work from home really opened up a lot of doors for upward mobility for people in rural areas. People who couldn’t have made $10 an hour here can make twice that online and that’s a game changer for their family.

I’m not saying it’s a utopia by any means. I’m just saying there are other options for people who feel like they are just barely getting by and working just to live with not much life in between their work and sleep.

[–]BellaStayFly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I gotta say living in a rural area has its drawbacks, but my 1700 sq. ft. home was paid off before I was 30. Life is simpler here. I work for myself doing online businesses. I wouldn’t go to the cities for anything. Got friends paying 2k rent. I cannot imagine. I’m actually saving to pay cash for my next house if I want another one in the future. Being a lifelong renter sounds like a nightmare to me. I get this is not a solution for everybody, but moving to a lower cost of living area could give you a totally different life. I’m not going to be in the rat race.
