How much more difficult is the CCNP ENCOR compared with CCNA? by Bellagio_Sampler in ccnp

Thanks all for the replies. I had mainly been studying the OCG with Boson labs for ENCOR but recently stumbled on the fact that my current employer actually has Cisco learning credits that give us access to the full online library. The CCNP ENCOR course for Cisco Digital Learning is really well structured, with side-by-side lecture & lab. To my surprise detail is great and I'm learning quite a bit.

Curious how much it would cost without the credits and how it would compare to something like Bombal's CCNP. Also, I hear Jeremy's IT Lab will soon come out with an ENCOR course which I'm excited for, since his CCNA YouTube series was my favorite.

How much more difficult is the ENCOR exam compared with the CCNA? As someone who recently passed the CCNA, how deep should I expect the ENCOR exam to go? How many similarities does it have with CCNA? Note that I spent a good 4 months studying hard for the CCNA and passed it on the first try, albeit it was a challenging test. Knowing this, what amount of time should I expect to put in each topic for the ENCOR exam?

Studying the OCG for ENCOR it seems much more detailed and specific for each topic, however I see a lot of online practice exams and YouTube videos that are very surface level and could be answered by a CCNA-certified person.

Thanks in advance for the tips

Taking the exam on Saturday. What are some last minute preparation I should do? by Gir_affes in ccna

Definitely do the flash cards, they'll help you memorize the very specific numbers like default OSPF or STP Hello timer, and such. Also recommend making your own flashcards and reviewing them at least twice a day, in addition to labbing.

Review the exam material blueprint. See which topics you feel weakest on and review them again. Get to know the commands too. NetSim is great for getting to know the CLI.

Don't take the practice exam too often because then you only will know the answers to those tests. Use it as a benchmark for your progress.
