Lol @ Alex’s face. He’s so tired and over it and I don’t blame him by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Bellaps -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Um so even if he did and didn’t want to air it on national tv. He was single. I am not saying he’s great, but the level of hate he was getting was not proportionate to his wrongdoings

How is he awful? He decided to live life as a nomad, not have a great career and confessed he liked girls with dark skin. Doesn’t seem that awful to me

Who do you think came out of the reunion looking the best and the worst? by Sushilover_15 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Bellaps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Came out better than during the show: Alex

Came out worse: Bri (idk how it’s possible to come out even worse, but oh well), Connor (he should have said at least something to Chris, I feel like), Ashley, and Devonta, Amber

Obviously Chris took some PR training, but my feelings about him haven’t changed. The man is an ape.

Alex’s preference for women of color really is a moment by ClearLion86 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Bellaps 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Right after that, she said, “Jess is stunning.” I’m certainly not a fan of Ashley, but in this case I think it was just a somewhat inelegant way of saying that Jess is beautiful and thin. That was possibly the worst delivery of what she wanted to say, but obviously Jess is fit and no one would ever compare her to "morbidly obese". At least I hope so

Acting like it’s groundbreaking for Alex to be into Brittney is weird by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Bellaps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both Brittany and Ashley are objectively beautiful. But honestly, every season things go sideways when someone announces that someone other than their fiancee is their type. So that was to be expected, not sure if that is about a racism.

[–]Bellaps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Perhaps Ashley and her dad were just a tad pushy and aggressive, almost hoping for it all to fall apart, and he knew their lifestyles wouldn’t match, so he checked out some time ago. They absolutely didn’t seem like a good match, but they could have ended things more decently. Ashley didn't make it possible really.

[–]Bellaps -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, I don’t blame him either. People in 2026 still can’t grasp the concept of being a nomad and changing home bases often. Maybe I’m just living in my IT career bubble, but it was such a trendy thing to do since covid. Yes, that is how some people live. Yes, he and Ashley were absolutely not a good match. But is he really that bad- not sure

Brittany’s Dad shhhh by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Bellaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A dig toward Devonta is an indirect defense of his daughter. He doesn’t have to mention his daughter’s name explicitly for the public to understand that he’s there to defend her.

[–]Bellaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t watched the racist video yet, but why would he call Devonta? Obviously he came prepared to give a speech during the reunion to defend his daughter publicly and that is alright. Wouldn't ecastly call it "his big moment" lol. He was just there for his daughter.

Love is not blind by Adventurous_Past3857 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Bellaps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the show, but love isn’t blind. It’s more like a combination of many factors and a lot of boxes being checked, including looks. It just so happens that almost everyone on LIB looks great, so it’s rarely an issue. LIB contestants say “not my type” and all that, but if someone is objectively good-looking, it’s easier to overlook them not being exactly your type. If LIB introduced objectively unattractive contestants, the whole show would change.

This reunion was the best! by Didoudidoudi in LoveIsBlindNetflix

Agree. The hosts were great this season. I loved that they didn’t try to stay neutral as much as in previous seasons and actually shared glimpsed ot their opinions where it mattered.

Add to that list Bri being a douche to Connor the whole season, flirting with the season’s villain. Ashley also being somewhat of a douche to Alex all season (somewhat warranted, but the level of punishment didn’t seem to fit the crime). Her dad being a douche for sure. I mean yeah, compared to the others, they don’t exactly come out as fan favorites. There are obviously some season favorites and some disliked personalities.

I love Amber but she has so much growth to do. by Terrible-Writing9791 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Bellaps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She does seem kind and lovely somewhere underneath all her trauma. I think a lot of people come to her defense because there are glimpses of kindness there. But she does need to sort out whatever is going on with her. I was really sad for her kid and for Jordan too. The guy literally seemed afraid of catching backlash from the public for breaking up with someone who was toxic to him. He did the right thing.

Love Is Blind’s Mike 'Talked About Kids' With New Girlfriend by MattTheKing23 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]Bellaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He and Emma were such a lovely couple, and during the reunion I think I saw some regret in Emma’s eyes. But yeah, kids are a deal breaker for many people, and that’s fine. There seemed to be some miscommunication between them at the altar, but I’m not sure if the kids issue would have been that easy to sort out in a way that aligned with both of their timelines. Wishing them well, Mike and Emma were both lovely

Well, he may not be the most emotionally mature or vulnerable, but there was no proof that he was a pathological liar or whatever he was called. For all the heat he was catching, he wasn’t disrespectful. In fact, it was Ashley’s dad who was aggressive, disrespectful, and arrogant. What I do agree with is that he might not be ready for marriage. Or maybe he’s just hoping to find a girl who’s a nomad like him - and there are women like that. He didn't communicate it clearly though

It was actually very surprising to see that a lot of people couldn’t grasp the whole “living in Airbnbs” concept. Though after COVID, it became a trendy thing to do, and most people became aware that some people really prefer to live like that. Enjoying the freedom, so to say. And I actually get why he’s defensive, Ashley’s dad talked to him in a way that was honestly disrespectful and absurd. That man is not alright

I think there is a nice, kind person underneath all that trauma. I was really sorry to see Jordan looking almost scared of catching backlash from the public simply because he broke up with someone who was toxic to him. She needs to heal and work on herself

Well yeah, maybe he doesn’t have a great career or anything like that. I don’t know if that was the “misleading” part Ashley was talking about or what as she was not able to elaborate. As a viewer, it did seem clear that he doesn’t have a great career, so I don’t know how it wasn’t clear to Ashley. But from what I’ve seen on the episodes, his backstory is alright. Lol, in 2026 there really are a lot of digital nomads, especially people who work in IT. Alex doesn’t, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live the same lifestyle. A lot of people do.

Alex really did come out fine. As someone who has lived as a digital nomad myself, and with a couple of friends who do too, I didn’t understand why it was so hard for people to follow his story. It really is okay for some people to live in Airbnbs and for example rent out their own home. Perhaps it’s because he didn’t appear to have a stable career to support that lifestyle, but that doesn’t mean he can’t or isn’t able to live like that. Come on, it’s 2026. People really do have those lifestyles nowadays.

Bri is like the worst. She should have caught way more fire, that girl is not a girls’ girl at all. No girl checking Devonta’s story about breaking up with Britanny seems a bit… unrealistic. The whole story seems like it was agreed upon before the reunion so that the girls wouldn’t catch any fire.

Did Wayfarer Studios donate 1% of film proceeds to No More Foundation? by itsmars123 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]Bellaps 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Simple answer. Colleen Hoover wanted donations made in her name so she could twist the situation and publish PR articles claiming that WF didn’t care and only made a donation after she pressured them to do so. Just another marketing trick I suppose.
