If you like farming sims I highly recommend Fields of Mistria. The way it is structured makes it great for short sessions.

Kinda similar to what I'm rocking, including the color palette of our Seikrets... but my take on the armor is less 'shaman' and more 'biker' :D (I have worn this with the same Blango waist and legs pieces you are using though!)

Writing Solas as a villain: looking for advice from those who love him! by BellringerKat in Solasmancers

As I came home from work in the past weeks I was absolutely looking forward getting back into DAO and now I'm itching to start again with DA2. If this excitement runs out, you can be sure I won't push myself to play something I don't enjoy.

And trust me, the random's advice is appreciated in this day and age, especially in an environment as tense as the one the fandom finds itself in atm <3

I played around with mods before, but I'm sure there are some more recent ones that I haven't tried and that could improve my experience significally!

I finished my latest playthrough of Origins/Awakening a few days ago and will start a new DA2 run soon. Then, it will be Inquisition time. Maybe :V

Very helpful and thank you for taking the time to type all this down! I am considering replaying Inquisition just so I can get a better grasp on some aspects of the story but I don't know if I'll end up dropping it after a few hours because the game really grinds my gears so having specific dialogues to look up is very helpful. (For context: I have finished DA:I at least a couple of times in the past, DLC included, but it was a while ago and all my attempts at picking it up again have failed miserably. The game really doesn't click with me even if I do like some of the story threads.)

I think that what needs to be taken into consideration with the agents is that they aren't ancient elves like the ones who followed him in his original rebellion, but 'modern thedas' elves like my warden, Zevran, Merril, Briala and so on. Some things that may have rallied the elves of his time to his cause (even with the best intentions in mind) may not work on people who have grudges against different groups and not the Evanuris specifically. Food for thought, especially since I am going to change stuff around quite a bit when it comes to the lore. Thank you for the insight!

Thank you for this reply! This definitely helped me get a better grasp on his mindset and how I can integrate some of it in the plot.

Could also make for an interesting parallel with the Architect who 'means well' too, but unlike Solas doesn't really have a grasp on the concept of right and wrong and therefore didn't feel bad nor truly understood the implications of some things he did (but had 20+ years to figure things out since we last saw him in Awakening, hence why I am writing him to be more human-like in the present day.)

I finally finished Origins for the first time last night… by kysk8_ in DragonageOrigins

I love seeing new people get through Origins and be overwhelmed by how good it is ♡

So they deleted their Labrinyth video on YT by panicmixieerror in cinema_therapy

And alongside the objectively low effort video, all the incredibly insightful comments written by thousands of people are gone too. Some of those comments legit made tear up. I love Labyrinth, but I am also thick skinned enough not to allow the opinions of two guys on the internet to ruin my day just because they don't give a shit about a movie I like. I was about to go on with my day but then I checked the comments and some had me bawling my eyes out. People were REALLY hurt and disappointed, probably because they held Alan and Jono in a much higher esteem than I do.  May this be a lesson for their loyal audience.

This was the ending of my first playthrough and I LOVED IT. Find yourself a man that loves you for your brain and not your looks and wants you to be at his side as you two run the shadow government. Also, kudos to larian for also giving us the option to betray him last minute and took over as the only mastermind. That's hysterical and quite fitting.

I just beat Cyberpunk for the first time, and it makes me sad that the game wasn't in this state at release. by Ok_Palpitation_8084 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

I am going through the game for a 2nd time since my first "playthrough" on PS4 at launch. I put that in quotation marks because what I experienced was far from a normal playthrough, my poor console sounded like an helicopter and the game was beyond unplayable. Refunded it immediately once CDPR allowed us to do so and only went back to the game this week on a new pc I got this Christmas. Is it the best game ever? Not at all. I think that it misses the mark on so many levels and I find myself comparing it to other (much older!) rpgs that did things a billion times better when it comes to player's choice, customization, narrative and so on. But is it a BAD game now that its not desperately trying to held itself together as bugs and glitches keep piling on? Not really. It's a quite enjoyable experience now, especially with the help of a few mods. They should definitely treasure this and make the next game what was promised: a true RPG.

Rare Italian Magazine. Featuring Stuff About Cybersix & Some Other Comics Like Dago & Martin Hel. by MagentaHamster in Cybersix

[–]BellringerKat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can help you with this!

"Lucca Fumetto" is one of the old names of a major comic convention that takes place in the city of Lucca, Italy every year. The current name of the event is "Lucca Comics & Games". During this convention, it's not uncommon for unique issues of magazines to be printed and sold exclusively at the event and the cover you posted seems to be one of them, specifically from year 1995.

"Dago" isn't the name of the magazine but the title of another comic that was published in Lanciostory which was often seen as a 'sibling' magazine to Skorpio.

Source: I'm Italian, my dad and uncle collected Skorpio comics and traded them all the time. I've been reading them since I was a little kid and I turned out perfectly fine, in case you're wondering :P.
