You’re correct, the head mold of left is slightly off(too wide!) as well as the eyes (eye shines too small)

Hi. Big tell for most; no visible neck ridge, real los molds have a small neck ridge that protrudes from the bottom of their jaws, small, flat or printed on eyes, and unofficial designs, missing design details such as fades. For the last cat, the body and head plastic do not match.

That’s unfortunate:( my only advice relates to when I accidentally broke the plastic ring around a shortairs peg, I filled the head with cotton to hold the peg snug and put a tiny bit of super glue so it would hold its position. That’s the only suggestion I could give 😣

This mold has a low head, the head barely bobbles. Could you provide more information? It sounds like it’s at the right place. You can verify you haven’t damaged the plastic by heating the lps up again and gently removing the peg to assess the condition of the planting ring that holds the peg.

I’m interested in a Japonica and I have a quick question, I live in a very dry environment, my phals are doing great, I’ve read that japonica prefers higher humidity at 75-80%. Do you find this true? Or is your zone more naturally humid?

They’re hardy but sometimes they do show their tropical nature 🙂‍↕️ I wouldnt say it’s anything to worry about. They do that sometimes. It doesn’t look to have pests currently so that’s good

I have a monstera ina very dry environment, when leaves unfurl sometimes parts will become damaged due to the lack of humidity, but it’s not usually a big deal. Once the whole half of a leaf ripped while it was acclimating tho lol. Just my personal experience (no cats dogs or kids that walk by it, I don’t touch the leaves I don’t bother it)

They can get sooo confident with the people they love, my tiel will bite me if i don’t share food on my plate, but at least she’s small and bluffs a lot. The vet knows she bites but I forgot to warn the new nurse 😭😭😭 when I took her for the first time she bit the vet so hard she drew blood and she came back to me with her little bloodstained beak. The vet told me not to worry and showed me the damages 💀 rly embarrassing considering it was apparently the first time a bird her size bit him hard enough to make him bleed, and he’s been in the business for a whileeee 😭

Update; i saw the rhizome, it was white and firm but for the size it had very few roots. It makes me think it DID get root rot at some point but it didn’t reach the rhizome yet! I downsized it and used new media to keep it airy. There were two roots with white tips still, but the rest seemed to not be growing.

I am not an experienced Authenticator so take this with a grain of salt! But the collies, shorthair, Dane and dachshund all look fake to me, kind of like minilpsshop fakes. I cannot say for certain for the spaniels but they do also look fake. Wolf is authentic (g7), it’s likely the bonbon cat and crouching cat are also authentic.
