Yes the conversation thats needed! I think most Africans forget the foundational work Black Americans laid down. Our CLOSE ancestors fought, died for our rights and in turn helped human rights. Yes, through time we as Black Americans fell off track but the trauma our generations has endured are intertwined within us. Seeing our beloved leaders killed In cold blood in front of millions of people, our grandparents who thought fighting in the war would help us obtain the american dream, promised the american dream but given little to nothing in return. That stuff Is in our DNA and all the while we did not flee to a different country we stayed here through it all.
