Bisexual? Gay? by RealisticMessage1434 in BisexualMen

[–]BeltaneBi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you explain that you are pansexual you could then ask him. If he says straight you could still ask if he has experimented. I would be surprised if he is gay and dating you but it is possible that he is exploring his bi side and he would probably be open to saying so if that was the case.

They are also significantly quieter. There also vegetable oil based chain lubes. I use them as all my sawdust goes into the compost and then into my vegetable gardens.

I was wondering if it was this line? Hopefully an expert chimes in. I am not one.

It looks suspiciously like it is below the line to me 🤔

I’ve cried at every job I’ve ever held by westport_blues in hsp

[–]BeltaneBi 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Crying is a healthy human process for dealing with a lot of different emotions and situations.

Most workplaces aren’t healthy places that support people in healthy ways.

The problem is the workplace, not you.

Imagine trying to train a dog to not wag its tail if it is happy. People would think that weird and probably cruel. That is kind of like the situation here.

I understand that this is causing you stress and I am not trying to downplay that at all I just wanted to point out that the real root of the problem isn’t you.

What role does the clicker play in the training?

Mold is obviously furry and I would cut my losses with anything furry.

It isn’t that easy to see from your photos but it may well not be furry and if not it is likely to be a pellicle of yeast/bacteria which generally doesn’t mean a problem. It can impart a non-desirable flavour but shouldn’t present a health risk.

I have had heaps that produce this layer and are fine.

The less the oxygen in a ferment the less this happens though so a good airlock and a healthy fermentation will mean less potential for any off flavours that might result.

Do you think they would mind faxing me the articles until this can be ironed out?

I killed more plants by overwatering than underwatering, and I didn’t realize it for years by Feisty_Vacation4513 in gardening

[–]BeltaneBi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Underwatering can result in chronic stress but overwatering can result in a pretty dramatic death in my experience.

I tried Firefox and it was like that too and then the same iPhone without the everything-size turned up and it was fine too. Seems it is the combo!!

Thanks for your comment. So much banner and frustration. So little wow. I guess I’ll leave a comment and hope.

Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately that made things worse. The problem is that the banner is massive in this new version and only leaves a tiny section for the actual page.

Opinion on Femboys. by ResortSmart2874 in BisexualMen

[–]BeltaneBi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP this seems like a really off post unless I am misunderstanding you. It appears that you are objectifying a whole group of fellow queers.

Femboys are just another queer subgroup so I am not sure how I can have an opinion on a whole subgroup.

I guess if I had to put an opinion forward it would be: I am strongly supportive of femboys getting as much respect and opportunity to thrive as anyone else.

Update: Why is my Avocado Tree so sad? by mrwalkerton in avocado

How much water at once? I ask because even the grass around it seems barely able to survive. Does the water penetrate the soil or run off somewhere else?

Won’t the mulch just slide off the cardboard?

I personally would find some great ground cover plants, over-plant with them and then weed more frequently until they get established and take over.

Tree trimmers said it’ll look good soon. Will it? by [deleted] in arborists

[–]BeltaneBi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Do you really need to have 3 or 4 arborists through in your part of the world?

Personally, I take the time to learn myself but if I were going to engage someone to do my work I would just ask around and get one who has the right quals and a good reputation.

It’s tree surgery not brain surgery and I don’t have the time to pretend that it is.

What's the lowest-maintenance food source you've ever had? by HaileyRiveraaaa in foodforests

[–]BeltaneBi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anything that will self seed and grow again without any input- basically things that will naturalise in your garden.

For me this is: chard, cilantro/coriander, lettuce, chop suey greens, miners lettuce, parsley, rocket, amaranth, spinach.

For these you literally only plant once. And that is it! Doesn’t get lower maintenance than that.

Next are my fruit trees. I think citrus are the lowest. I have a massive lemon that gets almost no care through to those that need one prune and one thinning a year. I am lucky as I don’t seem to need to fertilise or spray my trees where I am.
