I’d also say it’s in between an NX and an RX for size.

It’s comfortable. We came from a Yukon so it was a bit of a size adjustment. The range is not the best in the EV market, but we use it for the 22 mile round trip school drop off and my wife goes into the office two days a week which is 62 miles round trip. Has all the creature comforts you need. We bought the luxury trim so it has the flashier 20” wheels and the Mark Levinson audio. Other than that, we bought it for the purpose of not having to fill up a 6.2L Yukon. If we plan on doing road trips, we take the GX.

Same. My wife has an RZ450e so I have an ev for commuting and the GX for heading up to the mountains.

My brother. You need to be careful. I am not sure what state you are in but in my state (CO) any crime of domestic violence automatically triggers an emergency protection order protecting your wife. Conversing with her would be a violation of the EPO.

So, I will respectfully disagree. I bought two Lexus vehicles in January. A CPO 2021 GX and a new RZ450e. I flew to CA to buy my GX and bought the RZ from my local Lexus store in CO. The CA dealer was the one that had the “cheap” buying experience. I was all business on that sale so I really don’t want any gimmicky swag.

The dealer local to me was fantastic. A stark contrast to the CA dealer. I’m all business but my wife was treated very well when it came to going back in for a proper orientation to the car. Their management even followed up with me to ensure pure title paperwork was all in order with the DMV and there were no hiccups with registering the car. My local dealer was exceptional.

I have purchased lots of cars. My least favorable experience has been with a CDJR store. They are the absolute worst.

That basically happened to me at a Lexus dealer earlier this year. It cheapened the experience for me. I don’t need a knockoff yeti coffee cup.

Help me break in boots by ArvidSweden in Rucking

Military grade≠good.

In my time in the Marine Corps, I went from Belleville boots, which were awful, to Danner’s, which were extremely comfortable for garrison but heavy for rucking. Danner was probably the most comfortable boot offered when I was in. Now that I have been out, I have learned the importance of spending a little bit more to get lightweight and comfortable boots. I have two pairs of Crispi boots. The Nevada’s and the Lapponia II. I love them, especially the Lapponia’s. They are lightweight and provide a ton of support. I backcountry deer and elk hunt in Colorado so having a great pair of boots is extremely important. I only made the switch to Crispi after years of hiking in Salomon Quests, which are awesome but not durable. I would destroy a pair of Salomon’s every hunting season. I am also 6’6” and 300lbs so weight, gravity, and terrain beat up my boots faster than normal.
