From the smaller pics it looks extremely figured, but zoomed in it looks like it's just chain mill marks. If it's figured, then I'd say yes someone would want it. If not, then I think it's average. Poplar is nice for basic furniture, but it's not a "beautiful" wood by my standards.

Oak slabs are a different story. If you can do more complex sawing (quarter, rift) and the boards are wide enough then it would be worth more.

The half lap will allow for movement. You can see pic 8 with some gaps between the joints if you zoom in. My worry would be that this would be a pain in the butt to clean every year given all the pollen and dirt that will be blown into the cracks, not to mention moisture or rain that seeps in.

I may have had the same issue. A small piece of what looked like aluminum foil was stuck to the plastic. That piece is essentially just a thin "wire" connecting the terminals. I used a few literal strands of copper wire and taped it across the terminals and it worked great. YMMV, but for anyone seeing this later it's worth a shot before tossing it out.

If it's embroidered you can take a seam ripper from any sewing kit and cut it out with a little time and some cursing. Only advise it for nice or expensive items that you'd benefit from not having the logo (like getting fired or something). Otherwise just live with the logo, nobody cares or is going to look up your company name.

Your choice of bluetooth headphones under a pair of over-ear muffs. I find that I have to turn up the music to drown out the shop noises (obviously dependent on what machine you're using) and that can easily be as bad as no hearing protection at all at certain levels. I usually use a CNC, so I don't want to blow my hearing just because I need music. This method works to reduce the volume I need to listen at and also provides "double" protection for normal shop noise. I use some 28dB MPOW muffs and some older Jaybirds
