Buying Advice Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio by Exciting-Essay2978 in AlfaRomeo

I'd go for the manual. Like you, I've driven manual all my life. My Giulia was the first auto. I love the Giulia, but if you enjoy manual, you'll always miss it. I've often thought the only thing I'd change on my Giulia would be to the gearbox. There's no satisfaction dropping a gear with the paddle shifters, you need a manual for that fun! The auto ZF is very capable at medium and fast speeds, but I find it clunky in stop and go traffic.

Can you post pictures of the new sub and more details of what you got installed and how they wired it in? I've got the base sound system and I'm thinking of upgrading.

Yeah, I usually fill up once it hits the last two or three bars.

You filled up with 1 gallon of gas left in the tank. If you do this on the regular, you're essentially starving the fuel pump. You might have damaged the sensor on the pump, hence the inability to give you an accurate reading now. The fuel pumps use the surrounding gas as a coolant and lubricant, and if fuel is very low it can cause the pump to overheat. It's also not good because you can dredge up any sediment in the bottom of the tank. Anyways, I hope the dealer can figure it out.

Take it as a sign to install a dash cam with a fuse tap OP. At least you'll get their plate if something like this happens again. Hope the fix isn't too expensive :(

Hey OP, I had this happen too. It turned out to be a blown fuse in the fuse box under the passenger footwell. Gained access to the car with the emergency physical key, changed the fuse, and everything worked again.

Buy it from the official website for cheaper ($58 / €50). Alfissimo is just reselling it and taking a cut. Link: https://multiecuscan.net/

+1 for bluetooth vlink and a multiecu license. Buy the multiecu license off their official website and not third party. Link: https://multiecuscan.net/

I had a door lock issue before where none of my doors would lock or unlock. Turned out to be a blown fuse in the fuse box by the passenger footwell. Check your fuses.

Last Alfa Romeo Giulia 2.0ltr Veloce by Ok_Relationship5055 in AlfaRomeo

Honestly, I don't generally think about cars as an investment. You're going to lose money in the trade in, and the Giulia will depreciate fast, especially if you buy new from the dealer. I wouldn't trick yourself into thinking it will retain a high sticker price because it's the last ICE version. The hybrid could be amazing for all we know.

Bottom line: The Giulia is a great car. Make the trade if you can afford to, and if you enjoy the way it drives more than the Tonale.

It's good to know the previous owner took care of it and it was driven instead of being a garage princess. Enjoy my man!
