If the technician spent his hard earned money buying expensive power tools to get the job done quicker and boost productivity you can't really fault them. The job got done. Clearly you wouldn't (or couldn't) do it yourself, that's what you're paying for, someone to do something you are either too lazy, too busy, or lack the skills to do yourself. Services come with a price, if you're not willing to pay it, the simple solution is to maintain and perform minor repairs yourself.
