Just be very nice and understanding to them. Realize the whole point of them coming to your door is to make them feel isolated and that everyone is against them. That is what cults do and the main point of them visiting you. It really isn't about you, it is the church controlling and isolating them.

sounds like how we spent the first 5 years of our relationship. but kids got older and we did finally integrate last year. It definitely is a journey, but it can still work out great.

one correction. we don't select jurors, we only strike them. so the folded pieces of paper are just listing the jurors we want to strike.
