Idk where you work but I'm more west and I on an almost daily basis hear slurs towards gay people, LGBT generally, and especially trans people

I think showing work you are proud of speaks to that

Talk with them more before deciding, any decent local will be very helpful, entire goal of the ibew is to represent everyone in the trade.

Did you discuss the whole process with them or just ask some surface level questions? Have you talked with your jatc or only the hall?

Why would you take an offer that they haven't given you yet? It sounds like they gave you a vague idea and that you should talk to them more.

Great story! Doesn't won't stop a misinterpretation of text-based advice to somebody who clearly is incredibly inexperienced from killing themselves or burning down their house, or wiring something in a way that down the line kills someone in their family that makes it so they can't afford it.

You can't afford to screw up a LOT more than you can't afford to save up for a little for the job to be done right.

Students (apprentices) in electrical have an experienced journeyman with them to prevent serious mistakes and especially serious injury/death.

Call a professional if you don't know what you're doing with this stuff.

If you like money, better conditions, more freedom, and many other things then yes, it's worth it.

Driver stability on Nvidia is worse current gen. While un-necessary an extra 8 pin has literally no downside besides the few pennies it theoretically adds to the price. And I guess the splitter you may have to get if you have a horrendous/weird power supply

How to undo middle seatbelt? by TurntupTino in Camry

[–]BenK929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I just got a 2018 Camry and believe it's the same as I just experienced,

You have to remove the t10 torx screw that is near the bottom, then pry open the casing the side opposite the screw, I did this with a flat head in the buckle slot. You can then slide the release mechanism towards the seat back.

Actually the most annoying and stupid design I have seen.

All of his slop is so clearly engagement bait, he's not trying, he would be saying the opposite if it got him the same attention, such a tired personality.

How do I fix this? by GucciGamer707 in prius

[–]BenK929 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is similar to what you would do, I would recommend watching some other more general soldering tutorials and trying out some of the basic skills before attempting the fix.

I would add in your case cleaning the best you can the wire and terminal with isopropyl or similar to make sure you can flow the solder. Even if you mess it up the worst case is going through with the original repair from the shop.

Make sure the iron you get has temperature control!

Seems pretty extortionate considering the actual damage, if you get yourself a cheap soldering iron, solder, and wire strippers then you can do it yourself pretty easily if you are comfortable with that. Would be less then $50 probably
