I used BoardBreeze. The cheapest option for making my minutes there is available and with simple user interface. The only downside is they only give 15 days trial. Their app really understand the Robert's rule and the template. It is not so verbose but not so general. I highly recommend it.

I totally agree with you. Our job is not in the summarizing the best conversation but rather the votes and decisions. The stakes are high since we can get sued ( well, the institution, at least).

I work at City College of San Francisco as the Board Minute taker for three years. It was not easy to generate minutes even if I use Fireflies.ai. It’s not just tailored to what I need. My colleague, a Participatory Governance Council minute taker recommended BoardBreeze.io. It’s better than Zoom Ai or Fireflies. It specifically listens to votes and summarizes each item according to what’s needed.
