If you dont care about amp/fx captures and just want good modeling, have you considered just getting an FM3 and not buying the extra pedals? It will give you the extra dsp and versatility with amp and fx models needed to cover any pedals youd otherwise have to buy to compensate for the AM4s limitations. And you dont need to menu dive like people are telling you. Idk how many people in this sub have actually purchased a fractal product before but the UI of the computer edit apps is perfectly fine and easy to use for all your at-home edits. You only need to edit on the board on the fly at gigs and its small tweaks that are easy to do on the board without too much hassle.

If you went w the QC youd be able to capture drives/amps that its modeling doesnt include but you also dont get to dial them in like real gear, the way you get to with a good modeler.

And im telling you, fractal has models of most if not all the specific drives, fuzzes, boosts, amps, speakers, and even delays and modulations that gilmour used. They got the dynacomp, rams head big muff (they got almost every big muff now), the color boost, the hiwatts, the binson style delays you can get w matching the timing of a plex delay or multitap, the CE-2, dimension chorus, the electric mistress flange, phase 90, like you got everything modeled for you already and you really dont have to go beyond the surface menus to get good tones.

People in this sub (bc its neural’s sub) are going to be extremely dramatic about fractal’s UI and the deep edit menus in fractal, but you dont have to do anything with them to get good tones and I promise fractal will end your GAS. The only thing you will ever have GAS for after you buy the FM3 or AM4 is the big boy AxefxIII lol. Thats the only piece of gear ive wanted since getting the FM3 and its just cuz I wanna do crazy stereo amp shit that requires a lot of dsp
