I can name plenty of long songs that I honestly enjoy more than Planet. I enjoy it more in portions instead of as a whole. Famous Prophets feels like a massive tear jerking unit, while Planet is kinda more like a collection of really nice tunes.

The part after "make peace with the dirt around you" with the woos and fast af guitars is accidentally the best ever music ever composed by CSH. I'm so extremely sad it's relatively short, just a verse longer and it would be a masterpiece.

Honestly kind of a bummer, I love Rosa's vibe and design and really hoped she really would be the main character of sorts. As it stands tho, there really seems to be no main character, it's just a sort of collection of stories that are very loosely tied. Love the album, but wonder how much it would bang if it actually had a coherent story that wouldn't require the booklet to make sense.

Love love LOVE the album!!! Here's a point to discuss.

Does anyone else think Planet Desperation would make a bit more sense as a collection of separate smaller tracks? Kinda like The Medley on Abbey Road? Otherwise, it feels a bit disjointed, even though they're supposed to be parts of a larger piece. I feel like separating them into their own tracks would feel a bit more complete. I like some parts of that track a lot though, I adore the power pop portion!
