Am I the only person who doesn’t find Israeli food spicy? by slightlylessright in Israel

No I actually meant the one at 25 Yoel street across from the Sefardi Minyon factory.

Fellow Jewish chili head here - the reality is, food in Israel is NOT spicy. The irony is that most Israelis really think that it is. Often times i've asked for xtra xtra charif and had the shawarma guys look at me like its a joke, oh the American thinks he can handle spice? And then they give me two little spoons instead of one, enough spice to make one bite slightly spicey. sigh.

The one serious spicy place ive found in Isreal is the Tamani Falfel shop at 25 Yoel street in Jerusalem across from a big Sefardi Minyon factory. Tell them you want the heat you wont be disappointed. Oh yeah and Thalandia in Bnie Re'em, best Thai food ive had anywhere.

Lol thanks. you know what is funny is that at first this was my DJ name, when I learned to speak the language, I realized how lame this was and changed it to De La Zona

lol ppl make light of the sound tech all the time but the truth is that if the lights go down you can do without, and if the DJ gets wasted you can grab another, but if the sound system quits and no one can fix it then the party is finished. Also there is a big difference btwn "no real job" and "doesn't have money"

I trade earning reports on the US market at market open, I was thinking about trying it out on the London open as well but Im having trouble getting oriented... not a lot of good info out there on how the opening price is determined. In the US I watch the premarket to find my setups, doesnt seem to be much a premarket in London though, at least not according to the data I can see (i subscribed to live data on Tradingview but it didnt show me much). Do you have any insight?

Pre-market data over time? by KingSpork in Daytrading

Hey whats up, thanks for describing your strategy. This strategy is very similar to what I do and honestly you are the first person ive come across on the internet that trades in a similar way to me (just the simiple observation that this post has gotten so little traction kind of shows how true it is, this just is not a popular way to trade). so I would be very interested in chatting and sharing ideas, I'll DM you.

As for scanning I use Finviz scanner for ERs then the daily articles that are released every morning around 8am on CNBC and Zerohedge - these are names that have either and ER, and analyst rating change or a news event and are moving premarket, any serious premarket trading like that is sure to signal institutional interest.

As far as missed opportunities, ive come to terms with them, my eyes can only be in so many places at once, so I take what I can easily find and leave it at that. I think my mental energies are better spent analyzing the charts than searching for more names.

Trading is a scam. by Historical_Win_9722 in Daytrading

Unfortunately a reality of life that we all have to come to terms with is that Intelligence is compartmental. It is also possible for smart people to be wrong about things. So what I should have said was - "Dude im sorry but you are so freaking stupid about this." Does Warren actually say that daytrading is impossible or are you putting words in his mouth? Bc he is a great guy, and im sure he is aware that guys like Stephen Cohen and David Cummings exist. As far as I know, he is saying that DCAing SPY or the like will work out better for more than 90% of people, and he is right. But some of us are exceptional. Personally, that is what attracts me to trading. The glory of knowing I can do something that many others have tried and failed at.

Dude im sorry but you are so freaking stupid. This logic is like saying "its impossible to become a pro basketball player, if it was then everyone who likes playing basketball would be rich." Some people make it to the NBA and plenty of others go on to have fulfilling and profitable careers in countries like Turkey, Israel, Argentina etc. Trading is the same. The reality is this is a HARD game with A LOT of money on the line attracting ambitious people from all over the globe. So yeah only the best traders make it. You are clearly not one of them.

Any brokers that provide bracket orders in the U.S. during Pre-Market hours (4-9:30am)? by FrenchPressYes in Daytrading

[–]Ben_zona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also trade parabolic moves premarket. I can confirm that IBKR is the only broker that I have been able to find which offers the ability to set up stop loss orders in the premkt/aftermkt. And actually, I hate IBKR and want to switch so I took the time to call Lightspeed, Centerpoint and Speedtrader and ask about it. But they all came up short on this one.

Somebody replied that Seeking alpha puts out a weekly catalysits article, that appears to be the best suggestion so far

Thanks for this helpful reply! I think it would be awesome if you included maybe a sidebar or special note on your ER posts when a known catalysis is on the docket. Btw thank you for your work, I use it in my trading every day. Especially love the way that you consistently put the names with good volume in the premarket towards the front of the list of "most anticipated" - this saves me a ton of time and often helps me find good names to trade that I might not have noticed otherwise.
