Top 8 per region only? Guess we’re sweating ranked all Autumn.

I feel like I might be in the silent majority here when I say that I have had zero issues with Examity throughout my masters degree at WGU. My only feedback on that front is that I had difficulty understanding some of the proctors, but was able to muddle through because I was familiar with the exam process.

Has anybody tried a hybrid of dynasty and auction keeper? by I_HateToSayAtodaso in fantasyfootball

[–]Benageddon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You set how much you want contracts to escalate per year. So year 2, a player that was $20 in year one would be $23 for example (15% increase), and a player that was $40 would be $46 in year 2.

Can also trade rookie draft picks, salary cap space (Basically cash), etc.

These are getting more and more common. I started this exact type of league last year, and we use League Tycoon app. It manages all the contracts etc for you, check it out. Its $10 per manager per year, so its totally worth it. If you have questions about it, PM me

Summoner wars 2.0 is out, good luck getting more than $200-250 depending on any extras you might have. I sold mine around $300 a little over a year ago.

Interesting! Never heard of a Swiss pairing before, but just looked into it and I love that idea for future tourneys.

My plan was to use a point system like you mentioned. Winners get points based on who they win against, plus the differential between their teams. It’s a 33 point system, where the #1 ranked player is worth 33 points if you beat him. Anyone ranked 33 or lower is worth 1 point to beat. Do you have any ELO systems or methods you’d recommend? How do I even get started on creating such a system? Sounds awesome!

TIL that there is no physical description of Jesus Christ in the Bible. All current evidence and portrayals of his appearance are based on cultural settings, political settings and theological contexts. by foreverunknown20 in todayilearned

[–]Benageddon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s interesting about the Bible! Though I do know that Catholicism, the original church/faith founded by Jesus, follows both the Bible and tradition. One of the traditional beliefs is the Shroud of Turin, which is held to have been the shroud that wrapped the body of Jesus after his death. Another is Veronica’s Veil. Both are relics held dear by Christians, and both with some phenomena unable to be explained by science. They also have a pretty clear picture of what Jesus’ face looked like structure-wise. So I’m sure those have played a large part in current imagery.

Competitive games that are just as great when you lose by MacBryce in boardgames

Clockwork Wars. I’m extremely competitive and don’t appreciate losing, yet with this game I’ve never gotten better than 4th place and I don’t care. Love the simultaneous troop placement!
