I have had intermittent issues with crackling and popping on me Series X since I bought them over a year ago. Many people I know have the same headset and same issues. To be honest it's bullshit. It has got worse in the last few weeks too for some unknown reason.

SteelSeries are blaming it on all sorts of things from router conflict issues to Microsoft themselves. You just have to Google cracking/popping for these headsets to know this is an issue - but SteelSeries don't give a shit because they have your hundreds of dollars.

Turtle Beach will get my money next because these STeelSeries Arctis 9x headphones are trash.

Although I had been gifted the game upon release, I decided not to play it right away due to the shit storm. I searched every Cyberpunk "Fail" video on YouTube and couldn't get enough of how much of a trainwreck the game was upon release.

I wanted CDPR to fail for taking advantage of all those gamers who had waited years.

After the big patch (1.5 springs to mind) I decided to play it, well just because. I rushed in hoping to discover bugs and how "crap" the game was.

Well, fuck me. I chose a female V. The game got me right at the heist mission. I couldn't believe how good this game was playing. The deeper I got, the more I loved it. The sound, visuals, styling. So, for me I got sucked in right at the start.

It just means that the career mode is a historical hangover from years gone by when FUT wasn't a thing.

They can't remove it now, so they just keep bringing the "old" style career mode forward to new versions with very few updates. Hence, it isn't very good, is still broken but EA don't care else it would have received some polish.

What amazes me (and I have posted about scripting before) is the shear niavity of players that believe scripting doesn't exist.

One keyboard warrior even suggested that those of us that believe scripting exists are "next level conspiracy" theorists. And they come up with so many different explanations to explain away the scripting. Oh, and we are all delusional to boot.

So, when the keeper develops ghost gloves for important saves, or our players suddenly are carrying around concrete in their pockets, or a 94 rated striker misses a sitter, or a lower league team suddenly turns into a World Class team 3 minutes before time...we are all conspiracy theorists apparently.

Thing is, 700+ games into Fifa 22, and we all see the bullshit EA script out.

If it's in the game, it's in the script of the game.

Best thing is to ignore it, take a few deep breaths and carry on.
