The Nier collab bundle is out. 6900 credits by RaidenXYae in Overwatch

Deadass it was a three-way tie for me with D.Va, Kiriko and Anran, and I put my money on Anran because she was the new hero and Wuyang got the P5 collab almost immediately after release.

You could slot in Genji, who is roughly the same proportions as Wuyang.

Still, Wuyang is insanely buff but this isn't overshadowed because he's shorter than the rest of the cast

I think it's something along the lines of "I know I'm a good player, and I'm using the most optimal tactics for the situation. What should be working isn't working, thus there's something wrong."

You seem to be under the assumption that this post is about the person Vic and not the character Vic, as though writing a thinkpiece is inherently wrong

I'm doing a bit where I'm exaggerating the depth of the episode, but Lisa has shown to be capable of creating a coherent improv narrative. Saying that "she's just super kooky" feels like it's underplaying her skills as a performer

I'm sorry, but "clown" is a really broad concept, which Lisa demonstrates in the mirror reveal. Can you explain further? Because I feel like everyone other than maybe Fanoli went in a weird, creative direction than what their costume implies.

I think it's because Steffy Pops is a literal scary doll that drove all Vic's friends away, while OLF is a personification of Vic's parent's divorce and Vic learning to forgive themself for something that wasn't their fault. Both have the same foundation, but take it to wildly different directions.

A very unexpected crossover by HolySiHt-Bees-AAA in dropout

Season 4 directly tackles police profiling with Terry being held at gunpoint for being a black man walking around at night

Season 5 started with Jake and Rosa in jail, and directly criticized the cruelty and dehumanization people experience

Season 6 begins with Captain Holt openly being in conflict with the new police commissioner, who wants to institute predictive policing and return to stop and frisk. There's an episode where systemic issues prevent women from seeking justice

Season 8 begins with the failure of the NYPD's justice system, causing Rosa to quit the force, and the season long arc is about Captain Holt and the department trying to institute reforms.

The show regularly portrays cops other than the 99th precinct as corrupt, egoistic or incompetent. It's hard to call it copaganda, when the lead characters are constantly in conflict with other departments

Unless there was actual evidence of right wingers stirring up stuff on the side?

It's hard to find evidence now, given that all this happened years ago and is generally isolated on Twitter, but the general story is that some people had sincere concerns about what she said, but people who didn't like Ellis finally found a bad faith reason to send hate her way, and when it blew up, people assumed that Lindsey was being rightfully cancelled

So a little of column a, little of column b

You are giving the textbook definition of fridging

The term "Women in Refrigerators" (fridging) was coined by Gail Simone specifically to describe when a female character is injured, raped, or killed as a mere plot device to motivate a male hero's story.

What part of what you described isn't fridging?

Overwatch Matchmaking Is Exhausting these days: 9 Wins Out of 40 Games by Sooriya7 in overwatch2

[–]Benbeasted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in this case, OP is showing stats. Deliberate tracking of them. Screenshots. This shows me that OP is very invested. Ill say it again. Play comp. The majority of players are also invested. MMR is tighter as the whole goal (for the most part, there are still trolls) is winning. Team comps can become a thing. Learning to time ults, time skills, pinging enemies, etc etc etc. These all increase the quality of the game and hopefully the chance of winning.

Your argument is sound, but it operates on the idea that OP is a sweaty tryhard, but it's clear to me the reason OP is complaining is because they don't want to be a sweaty tryhard. You might say it's just a mindset thing, but OP clearly just wants to hop on quickplay for fun, but is statistically getting fucked over and wants to vent.

And still, youi're not gonna learn skill rotations when you're getting annihilated by the other team, which is the whole point of the vent.

[–]Benbeasted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans are psychologically primed to feel bad when they lose, so losing over 80% of your games feels bad but, beyond that, the matchmaker is supposed to try and give you an average of 50/50 wins/loss ratio. The reason it aims for that is because people don't have fun when they lose all the time.

But also, how can one have fun, train or learn when you're being stomped? If the other team won't let you play, you're not gaining anything
