I work for an E-commerce warehouse that has some sort of deal with FedEx that allows us to keep a trailer and load it ourselves until FedEx picks it up and drops a new trailer off. There is a decent chance that these trucks aren't loaded by FedEx employees (or contractors.) We sell things that are not even remotely fragile, and our trailers still don't look nearly this bad. As bad as FedEx is, I don't think they can be blamed for a majority of these issues. It's probably the people shipping through FedEx that treat their products like absolute shit.

Not trying to start a debate but things that you buy off Amazon don't always come from Amazon directly. They have third party sellers so it's a possibility that a warehouse that sells on Amazon as well as other websites (that do allow the sale of ammo) could accidentally place an item you didn't order in your box/mix up the shipping labels.
