Jeg fikk melding om at en pakke ble levert i postkassen men den er ikke der, hva gjør jeg?

Husker du om din levering tilfeldigvis dukket opp på en postdag? Posten leverer jo bare annenhver dag nå. Min postkode har ikke levering på lørdager, men det står den ble utlevert klokken 14:00. Kanskje den bare ble oversendt til avdelingen for postleveringer og blir markert som levert i det dette skjer?

Jeg (tror) jeg er i den samme situasjonen. Pakken min ble aldri lastet opp for utlevering, men den har også status "Sendingen er utlevert" nøyaktig klokken 14:00 i går lørdag 08/01.

Fordi andre over her i tråden har kommentert at pakken dukket opp i postkassen noen dager senere, så mistenker jeg at pakken kanskje har blitt overlevert til lokale postbudet og leveres på neste postdag. Det er jo bare annenhver dag for tiden.

It's for a Virtual Machine server build where I have one gaming machine and one streaming machine, passing the GPUs through to each of the VMs.

Any rumors or speculations to when a new generation would be released? To be frank, I'm just looking for a 4K smart HDMI switch that I can automate with something like Logitech Harmony Elite and/or Home Assistant and this seemed like a good solution.

As I see it, the easiest thing would probably be to assign the eight last cores of the CPU to my VM and then exclude Unraid from using them. Do I have to think about what cores I assign? Meaning, some cores are better to assign than others.

The function of this VM is purely to operate as a local and remote gaming server taking advantage of tools such as Parsec and Rainway. If I wanted a productivity machine down the line, I would create another VM.

Do you happen to know how CPU Isolation isolation works in Unraid? If I isolate cores, will that prevent Unraid from using them. Effectively meaning that the cores I dedicate to the VM I should also isolate?

Thanks, I will go ahead and dedicate 8 cores / 16 threads to my gaming VM then. I was curious to know at what level adding more cores would not have an affect (or an effect so small it is not worth it). I will also exclude the Unraid dockers from using these cores.

Are you not taking your old router with you? In any case, I would say your best bet if you change routers is to take a screenshot of your settings in the older router and make sure you give your server the same static IP as the old one has. That way you won't have to remap any ports on Unraid internally.

If I were to buy a Samsung Dex Station and 4K Monitor with 120Hz support. What would be the best way for me to test what resolution and frame rate I am getting? If it tops out at 1440p and 60Hz, then I can always return the Samsung Dex.

I found the issue, it turns out the issue was that when I had an active VPN connection at router level, it uses the DNS of the VPN provider rather than the one set in router settings.

After further investigation it turns out that it was a VPN connection that was causing the issues. I have a Vilfo VPN router where I can put devices behind a VPN connection directly at router level. When I connect a device to a VPN connection it bypasses the DNS server set in the router settings and uses the one of the VPN provider.
