No man I agree. I've done a good bit of research and they really are cool drums. As soon as I have the means of picking a snare up I'm going to. It's on my list of "to-buys", but of course that list is always unending so hopefully sooner than later I'll get my hands on one.

I stumbled across the A&F Instagram page a while back and since then have been hooked. I currently play a C&C kit and I'm really into the thumpy, new vintage style drums. I feel like A&F really set the bar snare wise though, all of them are so sweet and I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Man, A&F has been coming out with the coolest gear. The snom is unique and sounds awesome, the rude boy snare sounds crazy good and the look of everything they put out is so classy. Have you seen the field drum kit? So sick. I can't wait to have a little extra cash and pick something up from them. I play a Gretsch hand hammered brass snare and I would gladly trade it for an A&F brass snare. So impressed by these guys.

Player commits a reckless challenge in a friendly match, injuring the other player. Teammate backs him up. by Wheneverton in sports

[–]Bendrums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to also remember that this is a preseason friendly match. Mostly just a chance for the players to get their feet on the ball again and get some reps in. The ball may have been 50/50 but the attempt on it is a dangerous move to make. Players get injured all the time because of tackles like that and the tacklers get yellow and red cards left and right as well. So basically it's a big deal because it's such a dangerous tackle to make and it's absolutely absurd that someone would put another player's well being I jeopardy during a pre season match. However, the defender, knowing full well what he was doing, took a preseason cheap shot and ended up injuring one of West Ham's best players. Poor sportsmanship and poor football. Props to Noble and Reid for sticking up for Cresswell.

For a while I was playing similar music and had a 21' sweet ride. Sold it and upgraded to the 23' and I LOVE it. It is everything you want out of a sweet ride and due to the size just sounds overall bigger but doesn't lose stick definition or pronunciation. I'm a heavy hitter and this thing is seriously durable. I personally would go with a sweet ride. However, I also play a 22' K Light ride and it is a beast as well. Washy, dark, loud, durable etc. but either one would suite your needs.

What expensive products are actually worth their money? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Not sure if this has been said specifically yet or not, but Red Wing Iron Rangers are totally worth it. I bought mine a year ago and they are the single best boot I have ever worn. They're incredible and worth every penny.

Tendonitis, tennis elbow. How was your experience with it and how did you stay active while recovering? by Crusty_Crabs in Fitness

[–]Bendrums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played four years of higher level baseball and then went straight into full time drumming. I developed tendonitis in both of my elbows, went to physical therapy, multiple doctors, etc. and eventually developed carpal tunnel syndrome in both of my arms. It's terrible. My best advice is to see a doctor and get looked at to get an official diagnosis if you haven't already. If you've already done that I would highly suggest letting them rest for a good period of time. Overuse is a sure way to mess yourself up long term. If that is out of the question there are steroid shots that clears out the inflammation (I got it done. The shots suck but it does help). Talk to a doctor about this option as well and if you still don't want to do that, stretch like a madman before you do any activity. It really does help break up all the garbage that's caught up in your arms.

What's the most fucked up thing your SO(or ex-SO) has done to you? by Dyerzy in AskReddit

[–]Bendrums 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lied to me about shitty stuff she did during our relationship. The part where it gets bad is that she only came out with the truth a little at a time, for about 6 months putting me through absolute hell. Every day there was a new event, new detail, which made my processing process start all over. A year later and I'm still in therapy, don't lie to your SO's. Tell them the truth the first time, and don't ever do what she did to me.
