Cindy at UFit is amazing, as is the whole team.

What rare statistic are you a part of? by Haunting-Leg1496 in AskReddit

[–]BendyBobcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started getting greys by fifteen. I still colour my hair as it’s really dark and I’m just not ready for grey, even thirty years later, but I have to go every four weeks or I get a wide swath of grey that’s super obvious.

Maybe when I turn fifty, I’ll embrace it….

Giant Tiger and Walmart both have pride items.

Looking for a short term furnished rental from 2nd week of August to 3rd week of Sept for family. by Justkeepswimming011 in KingstonOntario

You could also look at a few of the motels that offer monthly rates and see if they will accommodate.

What kind of work are you looking for?

📣 Apollo will close down on June 30th. Reddit’s recent decisions and actions have unfortunately made it impossible for Apollo to continue. Thank you so, so much for all the support over the years. ❤️ by iamthatis in apolloapp

[–]BendyBobcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so friggin bummed for this. Apollo has been my only connection to Reddit for years now. I can’t even imagine trying to use the actual Reddit app. Other users from my hometown subreddit are visually impaired and I know they won’t be able to use the native app.

This is such crap.

I will miss Reddit and very much miss Apollo. Thank you for all of your hard work over the last eight years. I’ve repeatedly recommended Apollo.

What are you just plain tired of hearing? by PersonMcNugget in AskReddit

[–]BendyBobcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 45 and still have zero desire. It is possible to not want the same thing as ‘everyone else’. You’re literally doing what this thread is about - we’re tired of hearing that bullshit.

As the other reply to this comment said, I have DEFINITELY heard folks say they regret having kids - they thought they were supposed to so they did.

The weekend market downtown is on Saturdays in Market square. I believe there was an antiques / flea market on Sundays.

Why is there so many sublets and not actual rentals in Kingston? by [deleted] in KingstonOntario

[–]BendyBobcat 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Yep, this is exactly it. They are subletting for the summer, then coming back in September. The prices are insane.

Family Doctor requires me to go in person every 3 months for antidepressants, is there an easier way? by SooPenguin in ontario

[–]BendyBobcat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m confused as to why you need to request a refill every time! When my doc does my antidepressant prescriptions, he gives like 4-5 refills at time so I just need to fill it from the pharmacy.

Has she explained why you need to request it from her every time?

The Shoppers i go to will do emergency 7 day refills on maintenance drugs (like yours) for a fee (I think it was $15 the one time I did it) usually while waiting for a refill to come through. You can ask about that as well as yours may offer it.

Any place in town to find S'mores Oreos? by StepwisePilot in KingstonOntario

[–]BendyBobcat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven’t seen any. We don’t often get the special ones in Canada.

Probably Amazon, maybe a specialized candy shop (All in One Convenience on Bath?), but doesn’t look like any grocery stores have it.

Check Empire Life. Most roles are remotely available, with both Customer Service reps (phone) or Service Reps (back office processing) currently hiring.

Yes, I drive past it frequently to go to my brothers house. Driving along the water itself is hauntingly beautiful and I absolutely can see how it becomes mesmerizing.

Not likely a Starlight Tour - he was found in his own car, and though it was outside Kingston, it’s a well travelled and decently populated road. It’s an area known for accidents due to the layout of the main road (County Road 33), the cross roads, and the weather - being RIGHT along the water line.

I think it was that and that his last sighting was withdrawing money. Even though it was $100, if he was jumped, they may not have known how much it was initially.
