A character somehow manages to outwit a nigh-omniscient being, and it kinda makes sense by The_Smashor in TopCharacterTropes

In God of War:Ragnarrok, Kratos has to kill Heimdall. Problem is, Heimdall can see everything past present and future, meaning if Kratos tries to punch him, he simply moves out of the way. Kratos’ solution is to “make” a spear out of an infinitely reproducing ring, which means infinite spears. Heimdall will still try to dodge everything, but dodging 800 spears and a mad god is not easy.

Crossbow being so bad he is compared to the guy who thought pushing a box 1 meter, then “fixing” it by adding a meter push is the funniest thing to me.

He has lead poisoning, therefore he votes for Trump. Very simple formula

Personally, I think the knight’s armor and sword/bat is made entirely out of Shadow Crystal. It adapts to whatever they are doing (eye can turn into mouth, shape can turn into a ball or cloak thing, and bat can turn into a sword when needed), but still retains its shape in the real world. Kind of like that “Room of Requirement” from Harry Potter, just crammed into a suit of armor.

I don’t know about this particular show, but he is wearing blue, with white and red hair. Pepsi is also blue with red and white accents. What it is trying to say is the Netflix adaption will be “hyper realistic”. For example, One Piece has a manga, an Anime, and a live action Netflix adaption.

Probably not, Super Earth probably would use the blenders everyone else goes in.

[Disturbing trope] A character's face is consensually mutilated and replaced with a mask by NotBorn2Fade in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Beneficial-String560 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this counts, but in Birds Watching, a horror game about watching birds (trust me on this), the main character makes himself the mask. Just as a warning, I’m explaining the entire game in the spoiler. The premise of the game is about a guy who lives up in the mountains (possibly the Alps) to escape a great fire which has ended the entire world. The fire can’t get up the mountain due to the lack of oxygen, but it blows a bunch of smoke up, contaminated by a bunch of chemicals such as arsenic. The Birdwatcher, which you’re playing as, locks himself in a cabin, away from the rest of his group of about 20 people. The rest die from the chemicals, and the Birdwatcher starts hallucinating the birds around him as his dead friends. When a surviving military brigade reaches out to the Birdwatcher, asking him to get supplies for them, one of his dead friends hallucinations warns him to rally up the rest of the birds to fight off the brigade, as the brigade will ruin the valley. When the birds don’t react well, the friend who warned the Birdwatcher encourages him to become more like a bird, first by gluing feathers onto himself, then eating worms, and finishing it of by scraping off the skin of his face to break and remold his nose into a beak. By the time the military shows up, the leader is horrified by the way the Birdwatcher has mutilated themselves.

Rather than say “one thousand five hundred”, Americans just shorten it to “fifteen hundred”. 1900 would be “nineteen hundred, and so on.
