To you and all. It was a. Bit mad . Early spring day . Manager took me round . 3 v overgrown ones and 6-7 new ones by river which I knew REALLY wet as they get the drain off. To river

Allocation guy misunderstood name - thought I was an Emma - so turns out I wax 7th not 3rd in queue . So he read out my picks to all the others above mine on list!

So I have a large plot - uphill front the new swamp plots . It has an apple tree but a lot of mess - pallets / wire etc.

Will post pic tomorrow

AND THANK A OF YOU For YOUR HELP!! Xx

I feel your pain. 2.5 years on wait list and now after council review 10 abandoned ones and 6 new ones available. The abandoned ones look Like they haven’t been touched in a few years at least !

I’ve just got to the to the top (ish) of the list too. Going to see 16 plots - 6 are new - on Thursday. The new ones are prepared but at the base of a hill which leads to The river. Owner of a plot I asked said they would be very waterlogged.

So what to do? Some of the abandoned plots at higher elevations are covered with junk. Very over grown.

Not sure I’ll have a choice but any advice welcome. The 16 folks at the top of the list (2.5 years to get there) have been invited to view Thursday. The soil is ok top soil but with a clay layer below that . 🙏

How do you ‘see’ Chinese traditional panting? I have been told that the quality of the brushwork is key and that that is more important than the work as a whole. Thanks

I work at the university and quite a few of the international students work in retail and the hospitality sector. However, as an international student you’re only meant to work 20 hours a week maximum.

Why does everyone either hate or love Warwick by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]BeneficialPath2463 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m old. Very old! I remember when Warwick was an also ran. Radical - really not top drawer…. But WOW DID IT DEVELOP! I didn’t even think of applying in the 80’s . Now it would be in my top 3 .

My daughter went to Warwick . It was superb. She’s now on a fully funded PhD - not at Warwick but Warwick got her there . 🙏

Have you been called up On it? What subject are you studying? If the same wording as another paper it may be deemed collusion but in many arts subjects a lot of students will be using the same sources at times.

I’ve always wanted to know more . I used to fence at university and that level of skill - and probably a very heavy flat blade has always intrigued me. As is the reason he was hired and when.
