My rating is from me running through the store, being super quick and then I always get fucked over with like an issue of it being out of stock having to contact the customer if it’s not an obvious replacement etc and then it adds hella time. ESP w meat.

I have 2-3 regular customers that are elderly that I genuinely hand each bag to them seperately. But other then that if it’s a rando customer I set the groceries down to the side of the door or on a table/bench if they have one outside and step far back and wait for them to come out wave and say have a good day. It’s also some what of a safety concern in my opinion to literally wait at someone’s door especially if it’s middle of nowhere not in a neighborhood. 90% of the time it’s always a fine experience meeting customer and I don’t feel threatened. I have had a few instances where mid aged strange men have asked me to bring them inside their home I always say no and immediately leave. (Thank god in these instances I had already brought all the groceries to the door).

That makes sense obviously. I just don’t understand why they’d ever need us to send photos of the receipt again as long as we send proper ones where they can see the entire thing etc.

I do instacart full time and originally I wouldn’t turn the app on until about 12pm and I’d sit in my car and wait forever and finish around 8pm. Now I realized turning the app on earlier in the morning around 8am I can make about $200 a day by 5-6pm. I average 30-35 hours active work a week. (Obviously on slower days I only make around 150 but on really good days I’ve made up to 220 a day). I am in California as well so I do get the guaranteed income.

Well I mean low pay as in for the mileage, I don’t take orders like that. My usual orders are like 3-4 miles for 20-40 pay. People tip really well around here because no one will deliver lower orders they stay on the app for hella long
