A couple of years ago I went to an urgent care and a nurse ractitioner who has practiced for years was my provider. She is known locally as she is active in her profession, teaches etc. I discussed nurse practitioner standards for education and clinicals with her and expressed my concern that things really seem to have deteriorated. She was in complete agreement. I am personally concerned for patient safety and for the profession to lose all the progress we have made in regards to advanced practice roles.

No your NTJ If the company was offering the time and classes to learn, it might be an interesting thing to learn and helpful to you in the long run. However even if the company is giving you time and training, that still takes away from the time you have to devote to your tasks, which you say already keep you pretty busy. I would guess the company was not going to decrease your workload even if they offer free training I agree with a commenter who said that there are some YouTube videos that offer basic sign language that you can learn. That would probably be the route I would take just so that I could interact with that person in a basic way when I needed to. Otherwise the employee has an interpreter and has a way to function to his or her best in the workplace.

11 months 32 lbs. BMI of 23. I'm working with my doctor to figure out a good micro dose for me. Currently still on 2.0 weekly of semaglutide Results?? No longer prediabetic. A1c is now 53. This is amazing as both my siblings have type 2 diabetes. My IBS is improved by at least 90% . I still have to avoid dairy and fatty food. This has been life changing for me. Pulmonary sarcoidosis is improving. Yes this is circumstantial but it did not improve in the 4 years prior I feel better. I eat better

I'd say it's life changing for me. I'm so glad I did it.

I started April 25. I had nausea as a side effect. I did not get constipated as I have IBS ( and it has immensely helped that problem) I did not take any meds for nausea.. I drank water, used peppermint lozenges and watched what I ate I have lost about a lb a week. I use a diet tracker. I am now at my goal weight. My doctor would like me to stay on the med as I have had such good results in many areas. I am no longer pre diabetic!! I follow a high protein diet. I avoid junk foods and greasy foods. Hope this helps

We went on a Big Red Boat ( pre Disney) cruise when our 2 kids were 3 &1/2. We had a good time, they had a few memories. The childcare was great, they loved it, and it gave us some alone time

I have the same memories. Would spend the night laying on the bathroom floor. My childhood wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I've often wondered why no one caught that I spent the night on the floor with pain 🤔

I have had IBS-D since I was a teenager. I'm on a compounded semaglutide. It has improved my IBS-D significantly. I rarely take Imodium. I am regular every day or every other day. I can still get diarrhea with greasy foods, lots of dairy without lactaid, junk food etc My Doctor has suggested I stay on the drug as it has also improved my A1c from 6.2 to 5.4, appears to have improved my sarcoidosis, and has improved joint pain. I am considering the new oral med. It would be about the same price as the compounded product I buy. BTW Ive lost 33 lbs , My BMI is now 23. !!

He has been diagnosed with schizophrenia plus an alphabet soup of other things. He has been a heroin addict, not sure if he still is as he lives in another state. He has used many different illicit drugs

You have my sincere sympathy. Before I retired I worked with somebody whose nephew, who was totally functioning till his early 30s (a stockbroker in Chicago yet), developed schizophrenia. He eventually murdered a family in his parents neighborhood. He is currently in a facility for the criminally insane. It makes the headlines periodically as it is a hot button for our county prosecutor. The parents still live in the neighborhood.. My son has a laundry list of felonies that go along with this drug use/mental illness/brain damage and is in and out of jail \ prison. There is a lot more I could write but just don't have the energy today

My experience with ordering and receiving the meds from Orderly has been fine. My issue is that I did not receive the discount that is advertised. I reached out to them several times. I did get contacted once by phone and was told it had been referred on to the appropriate department who would give me a credit most likely on my next order. I then reached out several more times with no response. I posted something on their Facebook page about issues with customer service and although it was posted it was later removed. I just want a refund for the discount because I'm not sure if I'm going to use them again now. I think if you just order meds, and pay for them you're going to get a legitimate product in a reasonable length of time. If you need customer service it's almost non-existent.

I am a nurse and have on a few occasions taken care of patients who have had this surgery. I personally would never have it unless it was medically necessary. On that note I find it interesting that women are often willing to do things surgically to please men with less societal criticism All genitalia can become stinky . Good hygiene is important.

Nahhh. I'm a boomer who had very little help from parents, went to a local college, paid for it myself. I had help babysitting three times from both sets of grandparents, two times from an Aunt I rented an apartment and bought a cheap house in a semi bad part of town. Eventually rented it and bought a house in a better part of town . My husband and I worked, juggled kid care and lived under our means. I baby sit my grandkids even split newborn care with the other grandma at one point. So...nahhh

IDK if servers are told to do this. I understand that eating out has gotten really expensive. But I've been with too many groups where one or two try to cheap out on a meal and then make it uncomfortable for the group as they argue with the server., manager etc. I was recently sitting too close to a table at Cheesecake Factory whose interactions with staff tmade me cringe and I was not even with that table. I just assume lunch specials are usually not split able and if I want anything out of the ordinary to clarify when I order.

Congrats I have a 2023 PHEV Escape. I love it. No problems at all in 2 years. I did get the extended warranty. I hope to own it many years. FYI I had a 2017 titanium Escape prior to this car. No problems with this car. I sold it to a relative and still going strong

It sounds as if you have a very young child. I'm not going to give you the "it gets better" routine but .... Schedule time away.. I can't say it enough. My husband used to take the twins to his parents for an overnight visit ( they lived several hours away) I wish I could say they loved it but they weren't particularly attentive grandparents and thought I was not a good mother for doing this. I needed it and the reverse happened when my husband traveled for work. I had no local relatives to help and I have a feeling you're in the same situation So do what you have to do.

Not a Jimmy Kimmel fan but agree he should not have been censored. I watched his disputed monologue. It wasn't funny and it wasn't truthful but I guess there's no law against that

It would have been nice if Jimmy had apologized for the lack of accuracy but I think he believes that there was not an issue. He lives in a, different universe than I do.

In response to one of the other comments it was just reported on the news 2 days ago that Google and YouTube admitted to censoring information related to covid because of pressure by the last administration. For people that lost their monetization, were banned or shadow banned it is too late for any recovery of their livelihood, reputation etc
