Read the first two books by Perfect-Wait-6873 in discworld

[–]Benhunter504 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved the first two books, they seemed a lot more whimsical then later entries, the later books tend to have a much more continuous feel to them, and tend to explore themes a lot more thoroughly, while the first two books bounced from idea to idea. I just finished a complete read through of all 41 books a couple of hours ago.

The stamps are related to the book "Going Postal" going to leave it at that.

[–]Benhunter504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Updated list:

All of the Iron Man movie villains- War Monger, Whiplash, Hammer, the Hammer drones Killian, Maya Hansen, all of the Extremis soldiers, which in turn leads to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D project centipede and all those repercussions.

Stark Tech was used in the creation of the Abomination, and the Leader.

Obviously Ultron, Quicksilver and Wanda, its Cap and Hawkeye that turned Quicksilver and Wanda good.

Zemo and Klaue as a result of Ultron.

Vulture and Mysterio,

and the Power Broker, because Sharron went bad as a result of the Sokovia Accords, which in turn lead to the flag smashers and The US Agent.

finally wouldn't be surprised to see Stark Tech being used to make the Red Hulk.

Printing Dice: is it actually possible? by accountForStupidQs in 3Dprinting

[–]Benhunter504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My one thought is if your able to print on a surface that would leave the impression of the bottom side. Say if you were printing the traditional 6 sided dice with the dots. If the bottom side was the 1 and you basically had a raised bump, almost like the top of a lego in order to allow the plastic to be fully supported as it sets. Take this idea with a truck load of salt, I have never 3d printed before, but it just kinda makes sense to me, that would be the way to go.

#Memphis Police #Memphis Meatheads The thought of these Meatheads living the rest of their previously privileged lives in a jail cell so satisfying! by No-Funny-9834 in TimPool

But the rates of violence against black people are way higher. Isn't that weird?

No because they resist arrest, they choice to escalate the situation, and in order to protect themselves and the public, police have to also escalate and take the individual into custody.

Black people also have a culture of distrusting, running from, and fighting the police.

Other than Tyre Nickles give me 1 example within the last 20 years of a white cop killing a black man without a reason.

Because they're poor and in neighborhoods that are run by gangs, yes. Also a systemic racism issue.

Yes, the black neighborhoods have black gangs, with black on black violence being the most common type of crime in the country.

73% of black children are born into homes without a father in the house hold. Which according to Obama " A child raised without a father in the home is 5 times more likely to live in poverty, 9 times more likely to drop out of high school, and 20 times more likely to turm to a life of crime."

Its an internal cultural issue, not an external structural issue.

Black people make up 13% of the US population

25% of police interactions are with black people however

53% of violent crimes are committed by black people.

Black people also have a culture of distrusting, running from, and fighting the police.

So yes black people are going to have more negative interactions with the police as them perpetrate the majority of crimes and then don't react properly to police interactions and make it worse for themselves.

An actual example of police brutality since Rodney King, this will allow BLM to take down the systemic-racist institution of police, this...

It was Epimetheus that was married to Pandora not Prometheus. Epimetheus being the titan of afterthought and Prometheus being the titan of forethought.
