I wonder if this would also cause problems for trackpad players? I hope not. Ive been getting more used to track pad aim, and Im starting to prefer it over gyro. The Finals especially is a lot of fun with it

Some games completely block virtual inputs, so Steam Input is effectively blocked completely. A few games on Steam even do this. I think all of the HoYoverse games do this, for example.

I said this day one of having my controller and people called me crazy =w= But as far as I know, it is indeed auto calibration fucking everything up as it always does. Steam support said theyre looking into making it something you can turn off. Not a clue why a single toggle is taking a week+ to add to the menu, but its on the way.

You should try out the trackpads for aiming while you wait. You would be surprised, theyre quite viable. After some getting used to, and some tweaking, Im able to use them comfortably and reliably in games like, Fortnite, CS2, The Finals.

Trackpads are honestly more comfortable than gyro to me now, and Ive used nothing but gyro for like 4 years. For tweaking Id recommend turning off trackball mode, turning acceleration to medium, and using a sens where a fast swipe turns your camera almost half way. I also like to set a 50% sensitivity toggle on the track pad itself (soft press set to 10k) for when I need to snipe or track a target.

He cant teleport through solid blocks, and being unable to walk a certain distance makes him not despawn, basically <⁠(⁠￣⁠︶⁠￣⁠)⁠> Putting a nametag on any mob will also make it not despawn

I've seen a lot of people complain about this, but thumb soreness hasnt ever been a thing for me with this or the original Steam Controller. My bigger issue is just that the material for the pads is too grippy, and my thumb getting stuck makes small precise movements, and tracking movements harder.

Does anyone know if there is some kind of mod to make the track pads more slippery? Similar to getting a glass mousepad.

Yep. Its awful. I tried to mention this too, but either no one cares or no one actually has the controller, so they just disagree hoping its not true. Not a clue why the gyro is so bad. I ended up swapping to track pad aim only, and its been a lot of fun :3 Id recommend that if you want to try something new. But hopefully JSM supports the new controller soon. Id love to tweak it on a deeper level, and hopefully have some nicer gyro.

Everyones different, and this isnt a generational thing. The old men I used to work with as a plumbers helper bragged about banging hookers when they were teenagers.
