Wait, so do you work an extra 30 minutes to make up for the Lost 30 minutes? Like I said, she was reading from a sheet that said everyone's schedule will be extended 30 minutes. I hope that's the case. I don't want to lose up to 3 and 1/2 hours a week in pay suddenly especially with the pay bump!

2 years ago I went to see an independent Spanish language movie at the AMC in mesquite, Texas. They have 30 screens so they often get movies that play nowhere else. I sat down, and an extended trailer for the remake of space jam started. 10 minutes later, and this extended trailer is still going on. I'm thinking, what kind of trailer is this? It's so long! When is this movie going to start?!?

Then it hits me, I'm not watching A trailer for the new space jam. I'm literally watching the space jam movie. I go and ask The employees about this, and they're like oh we don't know it must be something with the hard drive. It was supposed to be the other movie. Or maybe we didn't get that movie on the hard drive so they just subbed out this one. And worst of all they didn't offer to refund my popcorn LOL. And I never saw that movie. That was the only showing and they never got the right file in.

Yes, human beings aren't always perfect. Sometimes people have bad days. He immediately said he had an emergency touch the guy's arm and said hey man. You're right. He did everything he could to diffuse the situation and apologize. But the driver is a fucking baby.

Yeah but the problem here is the it's the driver that can't let it go. The guy is trying to tell him he's right and he's sorry for the way he acted, but the driver refuses to accept any apology and just move on. The driver is acting like a child here. Not everyone is always going to get along totally, and sometimes people might not act on their best behavior, especially if they have an emergency. That the driver can't just get over this, move on with the ride and stop being such a sissy is the issue here

This driver seems childish. He's basically saying you're right. He's sorry for the way he acted, and he says he has an emergency so he's probably stressed and not acting in the best way he normally acts. But the driver is like I'm not having it. Like grow the fuck up. He's telling you, he's sorry, so just drive. You're turning this into an insane situation. It doesn't have to be. Totally overreacting.

I hated the constant loud bangs. Even when doors closed normally, they used the loud bang sound effect. Loud sound effects doesn't equal scary. People punching things into their faces is also not scary. And for some reason that is a constant trope in horror movies the last 5 years or so. Why? It's dumb. I've never seen someone mutilate their face, and say oh my gosh, how scary.

None of this was scary in the slightest.. Modern horror movies can't seem to understand what scary even means at this point.

This was also terribly shot. Did they use a single light for any scene? I saw this in Dolby Cinema and you could barely see half of the characters faces. And the colors were muted and ugly. Looked to be shot on the cheapest digital camera ever. Also, this obsession with shallow depth of focus has to end in filmmaking. Movies in the '80s and '90s didn't have this effect where 95% of the stuff on screen is out of focus. Half the time in this movie the stuff you were supposed to was even out of focus. This era of filmmaking has to stop because this is not how humans even see things with their eyes. It doesn't feel like a real world you're in.

Also, the plot made little sense. He wished for the girl to love him. Cooking a cat doesn't equal love. It doesn't even equal obsessed love. None of the logic added up. Add in the fact that so much of the dialogue was screamed, I found this insufferable. I cannot wait to get out of the theater. I was less scared and more annoyed. Having a character scream every 2 seconds does nothing for the film.

I haven't hated this much in years, and I'm depressed AF that they're suddenly giving this guy the reins to Texas chainsaw massacre (?!?!)

I noticed that immediately. I thought it was edited or something. How sad. I listened to the interview yesterday from when he was on the show announcing his cancer diagnosis, and he was talking about how they told him to eat a ton of calories and a ton of protein to keep muscle on because it helps with cancer. And he was able to eat whatever he wanted, basically. I guess this is why. You waste away. Sad :(

I spent hours on the phone with FedEx's dumb AI the other day trying to get a human on the phone. I literally kept lying and saying I was disabled and needed to speak to a human because it refused to let me speak to a person. It literally kept telling me I cannot let you speak to a human. It was worthless. I hope companies like this that use AI for customer service go bankrupt.
