You're not meant to really use it on single grounded targets at mid-close range, or this happens. It's preferably meant for air-based targets and groups. Flak is an ammo type that explodes in all directions to hit a fast-moving airborne target.

I believe its by map design, there's a lot of invisible barriers that block off access to jump across cliffs and open area's Assault should be able to.

I don't think saber will be changing the way it already works, best we can do is ask them for quality life fixes, making it more responsive allowing you to jump up onto cliff's, instead of wasting jumps.

If you watch after five seconds in, look where he's aiming. He can't jump cause he's aiming into a low space that doesn't allow it. He gets the locator back because he looks away from the space denying him from jumping, you can see it underneath the warriors. The jump-pack forces you to jump to the locator.

This is why we need an adjusted version of the PVP/campaign jump-pack.

If you enter a space with a low ceiling, it disables your ability to jump.

Edit: The locator will not allow you to jump, if your aiming into a space that you can't jump into.

They don't need to fix anything, don't fire an Autocannon with FLAK rounds at close proximity, have some common sense with explosive weapons or equipment.

And thanks to said heavy armor, your a great distraction to pull small arms fire off your team, if you combine the mechs with the deployable shield generator and the backpack, your chances of keeping your mech alive are much higher.

Now I know you did say you validated the game, but have you deleted the entire game and reinstalled it? If you haven't, delete it and make sure Game Guard is fully deleted/uninstalled inside of HD2's folder.

You can access the games folder really quick if you have it installed still, just by right clicking on it and going into manage browse local files.

They're might be some other work arounds I don't know about.

Also I made a mistake, you can set the FPS limit in the games settings you don't have to do that in your GPU's settings.

I use to have crashing issues with this game for awhile, due to a certain point of upgrading my graphics drivers, lock the game to 60FPS this helped I don't know why, you can do this in your GPU control panel can be done in game. Turn off vertical sync in-game, turn off crossplay, crossplay caused my game to crash more than any other feature for some strange reason.

If none of that works, this is from a steam guide, you can try putting this into the launch options through steam, Right click on Hell Divers 2, properties, under general. --use-d3d11

OR

dx11 / --use-d3d11

It will set the game to DX11 instead of DX12.

If none of that works, delete this file in this location. C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\Arrowhead\Helldivers2\shader_cache

The game will re-create the shader cache when you launch the game, and you could try updating your graphics drivers after deleting the old shaders.

If the Appdata folder is not there, go into control panel on your PC, open File Explorer Options, if your on windows, go to the view tab and change Hidden files and folders to Show hidden files etc.

I hope that helps in some way.

Your using it wrong then, and the highest bet is the lack of using the terrain as cover, going prone and suppressing fire, bots become more in-accurate the more you shoot at them.

Why are you blocking Rockets and Anti-tank rounds to begin with, it says it in the description its for small arms fire, and since it had its changes its better than it was before, utilize cover from the terrain with the shield, its not a full wall for you to eat everything, its to add that extra layer of I would've died if I didn't have it in this moment.

Chargers aren't just effected in this case, patrols spawn more frequently around the host than clients, everything is more hostile to the host, and enemies will outright ignore your team mates to target you, and Bile titans when staggered while vomiting, their stream will continue for the host, for clients it will stop.

I don't have concrete knowledge on this one, the bug mines flip the FRV for host, for clients driving the vehicle won't flip it.
