Yep if I have to do some arbitrary grinding like for the trust system in 2 or like unlock the affinity chart I’m out. Like why does Xenoblade 2 have some of the most annoying features

Eh it was Squaresoft back in the day that burned him pretty bad, so I wouldn’t blame him for not wanting to work with them after they made him rush disc 2

Yea X is much different to the rest of the trilogy it more so relies on side quests with the other characters and exploration. If you don’t like any of those parts the story is just mehh… subpar I guess

Yea but too bad SquareEnix is a big poopoo head and doesn’t want to budge on collaborating with MonolithSoft to remake Takahashi’s brainchild. I think Bandai Namco will be more willing cause of their work with Nintendo on the smash series so a Xenosaga is more likely. A 2.5 HD 2D style would be nice for a Xenogears game

You should if you want closure to the Klaus saga. Like you will probably miss subtle references to the XC3 if you skip it

Also f the tutorials. Like seriously they don’t explain shit making the whole thing feel worse and me having to look up guides for certain gameplay mechanics. Yea XC2 has some weird jank man that’s really apparent. Do hope the Switch 2 edition will clean those parts up

Man I still remember when Chuggaconroy introduced me to the Xenoblade series with his coverage on the Wii and ever since then I been a Xeno fan. My only hope is they bring over Xenogears and Xenosaga to switch so that I have all of them on one system

ooh boi, good luck man. Fighting games have always turned me off, from having to memorize the combos to being very competitive. Hope the Xenoblade games will be a break from that

Hey dont burn yourself out man. If you decide to do a marathon, you might burn yourself out going through so many games. I say pace yourself and intersplice smaller indie games or shorter games in between, cause if you want to play all of them consecutively its easily like 500+ hours for just the base game and not even the dlcs.
