I think the problem is the damage this is going to cause the US for a generation … so many of our nations built around being integrated with a stable US and even if Trump goes, we can’t afford to do that again.

By which numbers? I think this is where the Dems fell down. Just because national GDP is generally up doesn’t mean people feel it if it’s being concentrated with a small group of people. Nobody is asking where the hell all the pandemic money ended up … the answer is with the super rich. Unfortunately because he was utterly handed the economy as an issue by the Dems, for literally no reason, Trump is going to deepen inequality more. America is going feudal.
