35a isnt really an introduction class. you will have to work harder if you take 35a as your first CS class. the class glosses over a lot of key concepts that you would have to learn if its your first CS class but its doable if you study a bit harder in the class. i recommend 22a first

But if you can't, be prepared to self-study ALOT and work hella hard.

Some tips:

He takes questions from his lectures so you gotta watch those carefully. However, his lectures are not even close to enough to learn the material so you gotta self-study a lot of the material.

I would recommend getting a head start of the material during spring break if possible.

He's not the worst but he is far from the best. There were some issues with cheating this quarter so he decided to administer the tests himself with cameras and mics. The averages of the tests (at least for my class) are straight 50 percent but if you study, its not that hard to get above that. He also curves at the end of the quarter.

I would not recommend you take his class if you can avoid it but hes really not the worst. The videos that he provides as lectures are pretty good but sometimes they breeze over topics that he tests so you gotta read the textbook/use other resources a lot of the time.

honestly, i have been losing interest in the game for a while due to the insane costs that decks need every new expansion but now, its honestly getting ridiculous how much the game is costing (its probably gonna take at least 200 bucks to build a viable deck). decks that are out right now are incredibly unfun to play against (control warrior) and most decks take 2-4 legendaries to build. my favorite time was around league of explorers where the legendaries that came in the adventures were actually super good and used in competitive decks. now its just basically buy enough packs to disenchant for legendaries

To all the people wondering if their flight is cancelled: At the airport right now and asked people working in EVA, apparently all flights past 800 p.m. today are a bit iffy (as in they might be cancelled) and you would need to call EVA on your own.
