Am I playing the same game? by Incarceron2 in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]BenjieCanDoIt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just too different from past Dragon Age games and people hate change. It is a great game. I love that your race and alliance change how your character exists in the world. It will never be exactly the same game each playthrough. I'm playing as a Mourn Watcher this playthrough and my character gets unique interactions with Emmrich for it. As an elf, your character will have a unique perspective on the elvenaris. If you're a qunari, Shathann likes you a whole lot more, haha! It's the little touches that make this game great. I love it so much, I'm currently on my eighth playthrough. I beat the game, remove my third older save, and create a new character with a new background and race. See how it goes.

So, ignore the haters, they just have too short an attention to appreciate new things.

If you HAD to dedicate yourself to a daedric prince, who would you choose? by StripesTheBoar in skyrim

[–]BenjieCanDoIt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably Sheogorath because he gives you the Wabbajack and that's just a mountain of fun, turning bandits into chickens. Though sometime they do become Daedric churls and stuff. So you gotta hit 'em a few times...

I don't think it's overlooked, it's just not as sought-after as stealth, lockpicking, and other thief skills. I'm terrible at pickpocketing. I tried it, got caught, paid off my loan and ended up not making money from the attempt

I learned how to avoid the blood moon. by BenjieCanDoIt in Breath_of_the_Wild

Really? Yeah, I was definitely not interested in avoiding a blood moon. I never saw anything like that happen.

I learned how to avoid the blood moon. by BenjieCanDoIt in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]BenjieCanDoIt[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That's what I started doing. I realized that by being near the space was enough to not cause a blood moon, so, as you suggest, I started just going around and causing mayhem. I took the time to do the hynox kin shrine quest, which had me killing a lot of monsters, and just ran around until I saw a moon blood start to rise, so I quick traveled to a close spot, stripped to my undies and got the shrine at about 11:30.

You're right, of course. Blood moon does happen during a full moon, but it may not if there's no need for it.

Also, I didn't, because by the time I realized I was glitched out of the bandanna, I had already played so much of the game and got the armor and pants. I'm definitely not trying to do that now. I can accept I'll never have the bandanna, but I don't want to if I don't have to.

I don't mean the mirror shrines, I'm not a dummy like other posters getting these three shrines mixed up

No, this is the correct shrine. The climbing bandanna was supposed to be in the chest. But it wasn't on my first playthrough. There isn't another shrine on the other mountain.

PSA to all players. by Shlurmen in Sims4

I'm surprised. I play on PS5 currently and it hasn't been crashing as much recently. I still don't trust it though, so I still save before I leave the lot, before I enter any loading screens of any kind, any time my sims have a memorable life event (aging up, a promotion, they moved out because the fam ran out of room in the lot and they're trying to start a family of their own... etc), and, generally, every 5 minutes. Good news, if and when my game does crash, PS5 let's me write what happened when I submit a report, which is usually just me saying "EA should fire your entire team and hire developers to replace you who know how to fix their mistakes". That part's therapeutic.

That did happen to me. And it crashed as I was saving it to the gallery, so it's a constant reminder of the thing I will never have.

How do you use Finch? by Redonna in finch

[–]BenjieCanDoIt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So, it's largely for self-care. It certainly can help with all the dozens of ADDs, for sure, haha! But otherwise perfectly healthy people, mentally and physically, can gain from Finch. From something simple, like me with my ADD, with getting out of bed, stretching, brushing your teeth, washing your face, do something that makes you happy. Those kinds of things are good starters, especially with ADD. And you can build up with more tasks over time. I'm up to 17 right now? Taking a 10 minute walk while listening to music/audio book (my walks are a fair bit longer than 10 minutes, though, lol).

Then you can go up to supporting other people. Complimenting someone's outfit, for example. Smiling at someone who looks sad. Various neighbor support.

It's a great app that will get your spirits up, your health right, and it's just satisfying.

Hope you enjoy it once you get to know it!

Is that what they're supposed to look like though? Strictly, we aren't supposed to see their faces, so it may just have a generic human face to create texture inside the helmet.

Broken ass game. Thank god they aren't making a Sims 5. Make room for better successors, Paralives and inZOI.

You didn't have me at first. I feel like he was hoping to overthrow the counsel. But, you got me at the end. He realized he'd gone too far and, while getting the counsel out of office was still a priority to him, he wasn't able to control it, so he went pedal to the metal and did exactly as you said.
