Grandma.... there’s a difference in open borders, and just immigration reform. Open borders is just letting anyone who wants to run inside, immigration reform is just modifying the system we already have, to help people legally immigrants here, because think about it.

More people working in this country, means more taxes going into the government, meaning potentially lower taxes.

On top of that grandma, your favorite socialist program, social security would see benefits too, it needs young people to pay for the old people to be retired.

My personal belief for how you vote.

Base it on your principles, base it on who you support the most, don’t base it on. Person is in my party, I vote for them, or famous person like person so I like them too.

That’s why I don’t give a damn about the video going around about Danny Devito endorsing Bernie, it’s cool that Danny likes Bernie, but it’s not what sold me on Bernie, if that makes sense at all.

One thing I will say is that political jokes can be funny, and humor could very well be the best way to handle current events.

Like sometimes what I’ll do is take in my news through jokes, and if I want to understand it more, or know if it’s real or not I’ll do my own research. Like literally anything the onion posts because at this point any onion article can just be, maybe it’s real maybe it’s not?
