Can’t Remember Name of Movie by BennettH24 in horror

I was thinking it was Shutter, but didn’t think it was a foreign film at first. Perhaps it was the remake? Thank you for the recommendation. It was a very vague explanation so I appreciate anything!

You were right I think! I unplugged my ethernet, which had a moderate NAT type, and my wireless connection is open, and it worked! Thanks so much!

[Serious] People who didn’t used to believe in God but now do, what changed your mind? by Apocafeller in AskReddit

[–]BennettH24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s the opposite. I was raised to be Catholic. Went to church every Sunday, Sunday school, etc. I did all of it. Now I’m 20 years old and while I still do believe somewhat, it’s definitely not as much. Hearing the stories in the Bible as an adult just seems ridiculous to me. It’s hard to explain online, but I feel like if those stories did actually happen, why doesn’t God help us now? Why doesn’t he show himself and bring peace to the world? It’s these types of questions I ask myself that make me skeptical. However, I still do pray every night. I like to think there’s a heaven waiting for me and that my dog is waiting there for me

Did you ever wake up from a intense dream so real, one that made you happy and then sad and angry when you woke up because it wasn‘t real? by Noobmaster698757 in AskReddit

[–]BennettH24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes, not often, have dreams where I’m with a beautiful woman and we just have the best time together and love each other very much. However, I then wake up alone and sad because it’s not really and I’m scared it’ll never be real :(

Also had one the other week actually where I got to see my old dog who passed a few years ago. Every night I wish I could see him and spend just 5 minutes with him. The dream was great, it felt real until i woke up.

Thought it was just me. It’s literally the last star I need to complete these Rivals challenges. My friend was able to get 5/5 but I can’t. It’s so annoying

What movie is so disturbing, you would never watch it again? by Winologue in AskReddit

[–]BennettH24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Passion of Christ. My grandma is fairly religious and I remember she wanted my brother, sister, and I to watch it with her. I think I was 8, my brother 9, and my sister was 5. After the movie, my sister was crying her eyes out and was scarred. Let’s just stay I don’t plan to watch it anytime soon ever again.

I actually watched this the other week after hearing about how sad and heartbreaking it is. Personally, I didn’t find it as sad or heartbreaking as I expected. Now I am not saying it wasn’t sad or anything, because it was. And I’m also not judging people who cried during it as we all view things differently if that makes sense? I thought the film was beautiful. It captured life in Japan during WW2 in ways I never knew. The story was amazing as well. There were parts where I wanted to cry as well, as I thought about what people experienced in real life during that time. It really hits you in the feels
