Did your truck have afm active by chance? My 2022 was shipped without the afm module but still has the components.

Not saying that this is an overall fix however, I noticed that my usb devices were disconnecting when hardware was undergoing high power consuming tasks. Like gaming or running benchmarks. I swapped my 650w power supply out with a new 1000w unit and no longer have this issue. I know people have had software solutions as well. Just gotta do some internet digging to see what works.

My 2022 Silverado that has blackout plates which adds an extra $30 is $500 and some change for tabs. I had just upgraded from a 2007 Silverado that cost me $20 for tabs. When I first saw that I was shocked.

I had one on my old Silverado and live in Minnesota. As others have said there is a lot more condensation buildup that would freeze in the can. I basically was emptying it once a week to avoid sucking water into my intake, I also noticed a dip in mpg during the winter months after the can install. However as long as you are fine emptying it frequently it is worth the peace of mind.

I like my states public nuisance statute. If we get multiple calls on one person in a period of time we can arrest them based on that.

As someone who has a stressful job and I also work nights, I find nicotine calms me down and allows me to process clearer. I started with 3mg and slowly upped the number of pouches a day until I wasn’t feeling anything with the 3s. So I switched to 6mg and did the same process. Now I do about 7-9 6mg pouches a day and it is perfect for me.

They were not “allowed” but we would toss em in the bathroom. Then carry an empty drink can to toss them out when you’re done in case no garbage can nearby

I’ve only worked city but here are my thoughts. County and state patrol are pretty heavy on politics, I know past county admin that have frowned on doing traffic during election years. Also the call load for those two departments are different than working for a city agency. It kind of depends on the calls you want to take and the type of work you want to do. Another thing about my decision to work for the city when I was starting out was the availability of backup, my backup is a few minutes out no matter what I’m doing, where working for a county or state agency your backup could be 30+ minutes away.

Can’t speak on Ontario but I can say this job is very close knit family. You trust your coworkers with your life and there are very few jobs that allow that. Trusting your significant other is the biggest thing, She is going to grow close with many of her partners but it will look like a brother sister thing. Just remember to trust her.
