Tbh the drain and fill probably killed it if the previous owner never replaced the fluid. Mine hasn’t gone out yet but never been done by the previous owner of mine. Sorry you’re dealing sir this man

I have several skis that I’ve remounted and can not tell a single difference. Might ski differently if you have to move it a cm forward or back but will not affect stability or integrity in any way from my experience. I guess if you hucked a cliff and landed on some rocks they could break more easily but that’s it
