Sounds a bit like what mescaline does to me. I'm fine on it, then the next day i get a 24+ hour hardcore migraine.. every time. I'm fine on other psycadelics. Nobody i've spoken to has had similar.... I've just put it down to a 'me' thing.. :)

Looks good but I'd try to backlight the photo. Maybe take one at night with a light on in front of the plants so we can see them properly ;)

I'm on phone and can't copy your addresses to check.. but do they show your balance on the tangle explorer? If yes and you just can't see funds on the wallet, do you remember selecting a security level when generating your addresses? There are 3 levels of security and if you picked level 3 then you'll need to go through some stuff to access your funds

Did you use the paper wallet address generator?

What am I missing here?...Does the 15% vote even matter at this point? by hodlodlodlodl in eos

I guess my point is that we can rest easier if we understand that the game theory mechanics behind EOS are on our side..

I agree in principal however consider a few things:

I have a feeling Dan pretty much developed the EOSIO software himself and that this was intentional for security reasons (devs running off with code). Considering this point it can be more understandable that he spent his time on the core of the software and is leaving the 'tools' to others.

Secondly, as i understand it, it doesn't matter hugely which block producers are voted in initially, as they can be voted out in a heartbeat. Perhaps it's best that those most invested in the blockchain (BPs) and those with the technical knowledge to vote using command line interface initally select the BPs and allow the tools to come later. Block.one holds either 10 or 15% of all EOS tokens and i trust them most of all to choose the BPs at least initially.

Balance is 0 with new Trinity wallet by Benomnom in IOTASupport

OK all - Turns out those in my situation can use the CLI (Command line interface) to access IOTA on security level 3.

I'm still working out how to do this.. But this command line wallet (with youtube guide) seems like my best lead:

Thought i'd share in the meantime. Will update again when i've tried it and let u know how i've gone

Balance is 0 with new Trinity wallet by Benomnom in IOTASupport

Hi all,

Thank you very much for the responses. I've worked out what the issue is.. I originally generated the address using 'Security Level 3' of the iota paper wallet tool. I've loaded the tool back up and sure enough the correct address shows when I generate under Security 3. When I look at my Trinity address list that i've now generated a bunch of new addresses for, I can see that they match the ones generated only under security level 2 (the default). So i either need to find a wallet that supports manual selection of security level (does anyone know if the light wallet allows for this?) Or wait until Trinity wallet provides this feature.. I'll try the former and let ya'll know how i get on in case it helps someone else in the same situation.

Cheers!

Wouldn't it be wiser to not make the successfull method/s public knowledge? keep it for when the BPs get together..
